Wheel Bearings (for Cars)

This probely doesn't deserve a thread of its own but...

Does anyone know, how much it cost to replace bearings in a car. ruffly

If you get a non-genuine one, your looking at about £20-£30. This is based upon a Peugeot 306 by the way. But then again, that's the only car I've ever had to change a wheel bearing on!

The most difficult bit is getting the bearing on and off. You will more than likely need a hydraulic bearing press. I took mine down to the local garage and gave the mechanic a few cans of beer, and he popped the old one out, and pushed the new one in for me while I waited.
