bikerbob Posted July 5, 2006 Report Share Posted July 5, 2006 First of all you really need to decide whether you want a 26" bike or a 20" bike, this is completely up to you, the best thing to do would be to have a go on a number of mates' bikes and see what you like about them and decide what is best for you.Onza are a good brand aspecially for beginners, their prices seem so much less than all the other brands.Bob Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It doesnt have a super high BB (+20) and has a 1080 wheelbase. I am 6'5" (195.5cm) and 185 lbs (83.9 kg)I went with a 26 inch bike because of my height.I was also looking at the echo controlwww.echobike.comAnd the koxx levelbosswww.koxx.frThey both have reasonable BB's As for onza, I havent looked into them too much. Simpson Posted July 6, 2006 Report Share Posted July 6, 2006 As someone has said primarily firstly you need to decide upon"small wheel" - "mod" - "20 inch" whatever you want to call it!! or"big wheel" - "stock" - "26 inch" basically a larger bikei advise you go and find some rider and just try out there bikes. Mod bikes were the first bikes to be "modifyed" for trials however many stock bikes are now trials specific. More and more riders are riding Mod not just from a young child but many riders are choosing to keep riding them into an older age. Presonally i ride stock - i came from BMX so maybee wasnt the best progression for me but ive stuck with it. I think that its harder than riding mod its bigger its a lot heavier it really dooesnt have many advantages apart from - longer reach... about it - whereas for riding Mod - lighter - smaller - easier to move - more flicky. But i ride stock because i want to!!! it works my arms more and i find it harder which i enjoy - when i get on mates bikes its like... oh i just got up that wall - i feel stock bikes more and find it more rewarding!!!as for your list youve left out the T-pro - The best value for money 20" trials bike in the World? Absolute JEM of a bike i love the standard spec no need to have to spend loads of cash straight away up-grading it very strong apart from the pedals!!! i was going to get one this summer as a throw arround bike however... i decided to save up for a Pro2.... darn i need a job - for 20" definatly a t-pro and for 26" i dunno!!! not great complete bikes... i started on a saracen 2 six for £170 and changed everything slowly since then!!!
