bikerbob Posted July 27, 2006 Report Share Posted July 27, 2006 They aren't springy, they are clip on pedals.You need special shoes with cleats on them. poopipe Posted July 28, 2006 Report Share Posted July 28, 2006 if you gonna ride with those you're not a human being....correct - you need to be some sort of bird of prey so you can use your claws to hold onto the clips. like the man said before - you need to be able to kick the bike away in a hurry when you bail or very nasty things happen to you (eg. brake lever into your nutsack) if you're clipped to it, you aren't going to be able to do it as quickly. stick to either the cheap VP cage jobbies or get yourself some sensible DX type platform pedals like V8s. thats what most people use.
