hi rite I have a big problem when i am trying to get clips into premiere.

I try and get the clip in rite and it come up wit an error message saying unsupported compression format and I don’t know what to do if I have to use another camera or change the compression format but I have no clue at all how to?? :unsure:

So could any one help me?

You need to mention what kit your using and what import settings your using.

For a mini DV cam you need to have it in PAL standard and then as a "microsoft DV AVI" (should be uncompressed footage.... about 3-4mb/sec). Try and de-interlace it too, andmake sure its set to the correct framerate of your camera.

For footage off a digital camera use movie maker... premiere is overkill for such low grade footage.
