  1. I'm quite surprised no one has sugested Decathlon at your price range. I've not actually ridden one of there bikes but many many of the other random things they sell seem to be very good value. Decathlon Nick

    A-levels?

Entry requirements for BA(Hons) at Plymouth uni "320 points. A level/AS level/Vocational A level: minimum of two 6-unit awards at grade C or equivalent or a double award. Equivalent qualifications may be considered. Also at least five GCSE passes, to include English at grade C or above and Maths." I suggest you look on some other uni websites.
  3. Ha, yeah I thought you rang a bell. How is Alan these days? Of course that is not the reason im changing from Civil Engineering to Geology Geology makes the bedrock!
  4. Im starting Applied Geology at Plymouth to!! I have been there a year doing something else. Didn't do much trials riding due to many other sports but there seemed to be loads of trials riders out at the weekend. There is a mountain bike club but they are more in to downhill and a bit of XC. Just depends on who turns up in September.
  5. I think your best bet is to join a club and have a go in everyone elses boats. You need to get the correct one for the type of paddling you want to do, and it needs to fit you. Second hand is also the way to go for your first one. Happy paddling!
  6. Hi I got a D in english at GCSE and then went on to do a nd in engineering a college and im now doing a degree in civil engineering at Plymouth, so its not really that important but probs depends on the uni
  7. Im on a first year civil engineering course and seem to have loads of work to do . I have lectures at 9 every day and lots of work to do in the evening, unlike some of my house mates which just seem to do a bit of work now and then. So really it depends on what course you are doing. I dont want to get a job because im often away at the weekends with sports clubs so im going to be working of quite olot os dept in the holidays.
  8. I did that BTEC and I designed a roof rack thing for holding kayaks. Just dont leave it all to the last few weeks.
  9. I think centrino is great I have a HP pavilion dv 1265ea and I have had no props
