  1. For a 22T chainring you typically run a 19T or 18T in the rear.
  2. Remember with XT or XTR levers you have a allen wrench bolt to adjust the lever wobble and tension. I am not talking about the bolt for the reach but you have that one as well.
  3. The SD7 are really nice levers and you won't regret it. Good choice. Though I personally would have looked for XTR or XT levers. But thats my personal opinion.

    Tires?

How do you like that front Schwalbe tire? I have heard good things about the rear. Thanks everyone for posting up. I have been looking around at what has been suggested and now I am leaning towards either Maxxis or Schwolbe. Do you guys thing that I should go 2.5 or 2.35 for the rear? Is there that much of a noticable difference? Thanks.

    Tires?

So I am looking into getting some new tires. I was curious as to what people are running these days as I haven't bought a tire in 2+ years. In your opinions what is the best tire set up front and rear? Please include as much info as possible. I will mostly be doing urban riding with some natural. Thanks. Edit- I am looking for stock tires.
  6. I'm from America and there are a few of us that go on this site. I do not live anywhere around Florda but if you go onto observed trials .net there are a few riders from orlando and you could find them there. Go to the reginoal section on the site and look in the Southeast section. Gilman.
  7. I have a brand new monty hanger in the packaging, it's from 2001. If interested let me know and I will send you pics. Gilman.
  8. ^^^ I think they put these videos out to get the word out, because there are alot of people that don't think like you or I, but that are oblivious to the world that we live in. Also I believe what the video is trying to tell is don't let the government control you or become a "big brother" as they already are. You can still do something about it because the government hasn't taken away all of your freedoms as of yett, they have only taken 6/10 of your rights..... Gilman.
  9. oops I accidentally hit the 2 and not the 5.
  10. If this doesn't make you question the government I don't know what will. Video link- http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-4...p;q=documentary Gilman.
  11. I am looking mainly at the evolve dh cranks. I was waiting till I could find them in good shape for as cheap as I could. Which I may have found them for $25.00 USD plus shipping, they look good from what I can see. Though I need to get a bash ring, but that is 1/4 of the cost of middleburn's. Gilman.
  12. Where can I find these bash rings? I will have to get them from over there, because those are not available over here. Is that Filthy bash pretty small considering? Is it smaller then the Blackspire granny god? Thanks again, Gilman.
  13. I used to never test my blood either, my excuse was the same as many of you. I would say I know how I feel and I know when my numbers are where they are supposed to be. That's not the case, when you are running on the higher side your body gets used to it and then you start feeling normal when your on the higher side. Then when your numbers are where they should be you start to feel like their on the low side, or when your numbers feel on the high side they are actually on the super high side. That excuse didn't work for me so I know it won't work for you. To you guys that don't go to your doctor because of this and that, you should really go or at least get a new doctor that you can trust. I use an insulin pump so I never do shots anymore, though if I want a break from it, I can go back to injections whenever I want, and when I do that I take 1 shot of long lasting inthe morning, which will last 24 hours. Then when I eat I need to do one shot of a fast acting insulin, which depending on how much I eat will depend on how many shots I will need to do. Gilman.
  14. My average was around 8.5 for years, now it is averaging 5.5, and no higher then 6.2 . I am 27 and I was diagnose when I was 9 on christmas day, great gift... Well I am glad to hear that my words are going to help someone. Gilman.
  15. Well I also have diabetes. I have had it for 18 years now, and it's type 1. I used to average around 8 to 9 as many of you have. Well because of not taking care of myself as well as I could have, my vision is shot, I am legally blind. My left eye I am never going to ever see out of again and my right eye is not too far behind. I am getting another surgery in march so hopefully I will be able to see and walk on my own again, and get on my bike again. OOh yeah I have had 20 eye surgeries in the past 3 years, with aleast one more to go. My average is 5.9 now, I really screwed up taking care of myself and trust me you don't want to go what I am going through. This is a link from 2 to 3 years ago that I posted over on OTN, read it and keep in mind this post was a long time ago, but yes I am still going through it. http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthrea...ght=eye+surgery If anyone has any questions I will answer them it is too much to type all at once. Gilman.
  16. Cool thanks guys. I know that the black spire bash is slightly larger then the truvative bash, which kinda sucks. I was thinking of trying to get some used middleburn's from here somewhere, the problem I think I will have is who ever would be selling them won't want to ship them all the way over here. Now about the Saint cranks, Do they fit a standard BB size, because I thought they were only 83mm or something like that. Am I wrong? Thanks again, Gilman.
  17. I am looking into getting some new cranks, I really want middleburn's, but I live in the USA and no one over here carries them and I don't want to buy them over sea's. Though I may have too. Well anyways i was looking at the Race Face DH isis cranks with a blackspire bash, does anyone use these or heard of any problems with them? Any breaking or stripping, or anything good or bad? Thanks for all the help. Gilman.
  18. Hey all, There is a new bmx forum that was just recently started. For you all out there that ride bmx and would like to be part of a soon to be great forum aside from this one (which is a completely different form of riding) please check it out and join. As said above it is a bmx only forum. Please keep in mind that it is a very new forum, so there arn't many members yet, so I am trying to help recruit some members. If you like bmx and like seeing videos, pictures, and talking and learning about bmx go here, http://brakelessbmx.com/ Gilman.
  19. The fear that everyone has I believe, is not that they will shoot a missile at anyone, but that they will sell a "Nuke" to a terrorist state/group. The other problem that they have created for the surrounding countries (obviously not all of them) is that the countries are scrambling to access they're own "Nukes", for those who don't already have one, so that they can protect them selves. This has created a nuclear arms race just like the one between Russia and the USA during the cold war. Matt.
  20. I just installed the KMC 1/2 link chain (a nock off of the shadow) today. It's probably half the price of the shadow and just as strong. So far it works with no problems, and is great for making my stock a single speed with no tensioner. Not sure where to get one, sorry. Matt.

    The Lost Thread

I have basic cable. ABC is a basic television channel, meaning you don't need cable or anything, just plug the television into the wall and get some rabbit year style atenna and you can watch. Why do you ask? Matt.

    The Lost Thread

Hey I just watched the first episode of the 3rd season, it was awsome! You can watch it on the web without having to download , I believe. Here- WWW.abc.com Matt.
  23. It may be just me, but I seem to see alot of complaints with those echo 6061 cranks. I would get another one, if at all possible. Though I could be wrong, I would search the forum on info about those cranks. If I am wrong just ignore this post..... Everything else looks like it will be awsome! Matt.
  24. Sorry Man, I should have stated that it was an "argument". Although it does, under the title, say "just read". Again SORRY to mislead. Matt.
  25. Hey all, This is pretty funny. Heres a link to OTN. http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthread.php?t=23642 Here's a second link on the same subject, also on OTN. The original. http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/showthrea...2465#post312465 Matt.
