there was BTM (bike trials magazine), but they were few and far between, to be honest the forum moves faster than any print media, so by the time it hits the press, it's old news. however there is now trialsworld, which is a mototrials magazine, which covers some aspect of biketrials, but i dont think it really took off.

no it is actually possible to take the elbows off of the evo mounts and fit them as if they were 4 bolt mounts. i've done it a few times, it can be done, but they really have nothing over 4-bolt mounts it's already been said, buy some 4 bolt mounts.

you can do it, and it will work. but only for a while. the mounts go on angled, so it will ruin your brake pads, and there is limited/no adjustability. not really worth it in the long run, but it will do for a day or two. i'm sure you can find some cheap 4-bolt mounts somewhere.

yeah it will. as long as it's paint and not anodising, nitromors will get rid of it.

it should be fine to use nitromors to get the lacquer off, as the Zona's are anodised aren't they? also, you will void your warranty, but i'm sure i read something about it not being warrantied was because of branding. so in theory i'f you make some more stickers, the warranty should be fine. Nitromors is a paintstripper, it comes in a geen tin/tub, you can find it in most good hardware shops. an £8 tin will do about two frames completely, so you get loads.

you can however most people find them too long, and you will need to run a rear cassette hub or freewheel.
