mmmmm....http://www.pistonheads.com/lotus/default.asp?storyId=15398 If not that, works mk1 or mk2 escort/mini or audi quattro/RS200/205 t16 or even lancia delta s4

but you can fit a 180mm rotor to any normal forks without the need for an adaptor, so surely this is a '+20' caliper? So why can't a similar caliper be done for the rear?
-
These are different to the normal RIBO's though aren't they?
-
Does it matter? NSE can we have some pics when possible please
-
I've been wondering this, because the older Hope mini's could come in different size calipers and were numbered. I believe a 180mm rotor on a rear IS mount required a number 5 caliper?? And a 160mm rotor on IS mount is a number 3 caliper? So why is this not available on the mono range?

Got 'reading week' this week, so does anyone wanna go play on the rocks? If not Hook Woods, any other decent suggestions around this area would be welcome (prefer natural )
-
I'm thinking about going up during the week for a play (probably motorbike though), anyone PM me if your interested. If not, there's a club motorbike trial there Sunday coming, if you keep it low, you'll be more than welcome to go up there and play I expect. Dan

Regular Disk Brake Compared To Hope Mono Trial 180mm
bikerider replied to NirZionTrials's topic in Trials Chat
I've had that but with my hope mini. I bled it through with dot 4 instead of 5.1, and put some decent lube around the pistons, and on all the moving parts of the lever. Made ALOT of difference, feels a whole load better now. I think the mini levers suffer with drying out or summat, the bushes in them are pretty shit -
I'm guessing this is the aluminium corrosion stuff that appears on all bare alu if it's left exposed for a while? I think this is what I have occuring on my motorbikes spokes. If it is, get some solvol and polish it off....

finally, sounds like an MBUK actually worth buying

It is, you have to be utterly smashed to even consider playing it. And even then I still refuse

Can't remember the name of the game, ships or rowing boats or summat but anyways, it goes as follows.... teams of 4/5 stand in lines, and all have a pint of your preference... first person in each team down the pint, sit down, and turn the glass upside above your head. Next person does same. the following person can't start downing their pint until the previous team member has finished theirs, and is sat down with the pint upside down on their head. First team to finish wins. Gets pretty interesting after a few rounds lol (does that make sense??) Another one, but it's not really a drinking game...see who can eat a whole slice of bread the quickest without a drink. Anyone ever heard of 'soggy biscuit' ?

Thanks for your help. Got the third one in the end and because of a load of hassle I had due to the numb-nut of a sales guy,I blagged a new power thingy and a 1 gig USB storage device - for free Using it now, it's amazing, and has this dual core thing thanks for your help

I don't fancy an ex-display one, dunno why. If not the third, which one of the others? thanks again

Help I think i've just made a mistake! Bought a Pro 2 hub, but it's not a trials one as far as i know; are there any differences between a Pro 2 hub and a Pro 2 T hub? thanks

Is there any practising or anything going on the saturday? I can't make the Sunday, but would still like to come up, love Hook Woods now it's been all re-vamped
-
Go up there tomorrow anyhow, motorbikes or not, just be a bit discreet about it. I went up there today, got there for about 1, watched half hour of trial so as not to be to blatant about what I was really there for, then rode till 6. If you're doing big stuff they'll love you for entertainment value anyway

Being as no-one has bothered to help me out, would £350 - 400 for complete build with spare bars, and original megamo wheels and cranks be about right?
-
(sorry for doing this type of post, but I'm really unsure) Looking at getting a new bike, but need to see how much I could get back for my present ride. Spec is: Megamo Equip stock frame and forks rear wheel is Hope XC on tryall rim, nichelin tyre, maxxis tube front wheel is hope Xc on mavic 519(?), michelin tyre, maxxis tube middleburn cranks, bash, chainring shimano bb, cane creek headset dmr single speed tensioner and ss kit on rear brakes: hope mini pro 180mm on rear, hope mini pro 205mm on front megamo flat bars and tem vp pedals It's in good condition, minimal scratches and scuffs, one tiny dent on toptube. Wheel run straight and well, no creaks or funny noises or anything pics from a few months ago: any rough ideas, whether it be for whole bike or split, would be great (or if anyone wants to make me a sensible offer, PM me ) thanks
