  1. i think its one size fits all. But in this case - one size fits almost all but not quite cheers
  2. I've just bought some smart guy forks and I went to fit them. But when I had my old standard onza forks off, I saw that the hole where the star nut sits (down tube ??) is waaaaaaaaay too small for an average sized star nut. What do I do? Cheers
  3. Yeah my bike is just like yours! I bought some smart guys from ebay about 2000000 years ago (2 weeks) and they still haven't come. And my freewheel gave up a couple of days ago so i'll be getting a tensile one soon-ish. So by the end of that my bike should be pritty nice! Cheers
  4. If it was me - I'd go for a Python. You hardly ever hear about people snapping them or having any problems and they've been around for ages! But I've seen two messed up Zona Zips (bent headtube and someone cracked one on the bash mount).
  5. I ride a reasonably old Specalised hardrock. Its pretty nackered though - bmx size chain (which means its only got one gear. Actually thinking about it, its pretty awful, theres loads wrong with it. Cheers
  6. I use PQ-Ipod to DVD video converter. I'll add you on msn let you in on a money saver... Cheers
  7. The single, most addictive, most fun - Trials game; Is called Gravity Defied. You can get it off limewire and its for phones (java). I think I typed in the search box - Gravity Defied .jar Its brilliant! Cheers
  8. Just asked a local OAP (my mum) and she said: eucalyptus oil. I think its one of those things you get it chemists for un-blocking noses. But i tried it and it works quite well! Cheers
  9. I just never lock my bike. I've heard too many sad storys of people locking their expensive bikes somewhere, and then either people cutting through the locks or just some little **** coming along with a few allen keys etc. and nicking parts off them! I if i'm going to leave my bike anywhere I leave it with a large animal or one of my mates. and... I'm quite scared haha Also i could say something rather revealing about my padlocked shed, but i'm not going to do that because I would wake up tomorrow with no bike. All i will say is - their not as good as they look. Cheers
  10. Yeah, if up tried to crank-hop and fell off it would be like sky diving (if you used your imagination a bit )
  11. The big red box at the top of the screen is there for a reason
  12. Not that I know of, but my mate did manage to bend a pair ! I thought they'd be quite a bit heavier than that! Considering that the smart guy forks (RRP £89.99!!!) are about 1020g! I'm outraged! haha
  13. I ride with someone who has those pads - there really good. BUT in weather like we've got at the moment, apparently, they are unbearabley sweaty. Also I don't know if its just him (haha) but they absolutely stink of sweat and cheese and stuff . Nothing a washing machine couldn't sort out though .
  14. I think all thease validating problems would be solved if: people were patient and listened at school !! (i.e. spelling mistakes & capital letters) Saying that i'm not patient and i dont listen at school - probably why i'm not validated... yet
  15. wehay!! Yes, his rims are probably solid, either that or he 'grinds' them with extra fine sand paper or something!
  16. i didnt think of that... they probably do weigh quite alot. I'll post the weight after i've fitted my smart guys.
  17. I've just bought some smart guy forks for my t-mag on ebay and I was wondering what the weight difference would be (smart guy's weigh in at just over a kg). But I have looked everywhere I can think of to try and find out how much the standard forks weigh!!! Its annoying the hell out of me so i needed to make a post! Cheers
