Hi, last night i was out riding, having a very bad ride, and went for a front to back on a 2 foot wall and overshot it... landed on frame put a nice dent in, and I think i have dented my gussets at the top of the bash guard so the gusset is touching the frame, is it dangerous or not? cheers tim

ben u know my story!! unlucky!! hahaha my local hospital are complete dumbases... (had a topic up the other week about broken wrist).. they told me i had broken wrist cast for 6 weeks dammed!!! so i got all unhappy and thinking i couldn't ride for the next 6 weeks but they said get a third oppion on it at a specialist fracture clinic, they told me it wasn't broke in about 23 seconds before the dam x rays, cast off pretty much fully healed and i'm now riding again p.s... YOU PUSSY, MY SIS BROKE HER TOE AND SHE WAS OUT FOR UNDER 2 WEEKS!! lol Tim.

sorry, don't really like the vid... bit boring...no tricks....not much style... no big jumps try making your runs/landing a bit smoother? you could of got some nice no/one footers off the jumps there! how long have you been riding or is this your first attempt at dirt jumping?.. if it is well done not too bad! lol, its not exactly riding mate basically just riding around. and it barely hurts but it has to heal rite thats why it has to be in a cast and its annoing because i can ride and i have to watch others all the time and its so annoing when others find something new and i cant ride it! Tim.

yeh I'm riding now but only out the front of the house as i can only hold the front wheel up for about 20 secs before wrist gives way lol hopefully i haven't broke stupid scaphoid... finding out on monday Tim.

ye i'm hoping its not 3 months because it will be the worst 3 months hs of my life!! anyone else broken the same bones?

about 5 days ago i put a nicee fracture in my wrist from trying to lunge a gap acros a little brook, it wasnt even big but my front wheel just dropped, sending me into the brook and hitting the bank on the other side! and at the same time I land with my left hand under my cheast and upside down! Wasnt actualy too painfull til a few days later... got wrist x rayed and hospital said... fractured colles bone and suspected fractured scaphiod bone! hello, I snapped a few teeth off my 12 tooth and i'm trying to get my old one off, and i'm having no luck... i've tried, chain whip in vice and hammer and chisel and the sprocket isn't even moving! my lbs said try heating the sprocket up to make it expand, or a lubricant to help? would they work? Hi, well i think silent should drill his rim dropouts out to fit a 14mm axcle, my friend tom who bought a koxx djinn frame realized that his axcles were too big for the dropouts so he just drilled them to fit, hes now had the frame about 2 months and hes quite a harsh rider... and its all fine. Then you wouldn't have to pay to get a new hub and spokes. And any you can buy mission 14mm axcle hubs, i don't think there too bad, any who cares about a decent hub..well i don't! Tim.

Hi, i'd reconmend the monty bars as i use them, and as "monty boi" said they are very light, feel like heaven and strong. also if you want a better feel get the monty 221 ti stem with the green bars, then you will have an awesome feel to your bike! Tim.

hi, YOU DON'T HAVE TO REPLACE YOUR CRANK!!! rite heres what to do... take your bike to engineers where they do welding, weld another layer ontop of the bugerd thread then tap the crank, its around m26 thread or something? you can buy tap and die kits from b&q for like £6.00. also it wont cost too much, i would say 15£ max! that is what i would do because new cranks are like 70£ minimum. or another idea is to go to engineering place where they do helicoiling and get it helicoiled back to its thread size... EASY WORK Tim.

No will never go near anything thats "onza" the pads will probably snap or bend like most of there frames! but how good are those onza pads then? there only 8£ on tarty so i don't think they will be a big hitter so tensile freewheel sounds pretty good i'l invest in one soon. anyone on the pads? cheers Tim.

Hi, firstly this isn't a post about which is best! I need some good opinions on... the echo pink and red hs33 pads, i have never seen any opinions on the forum before and i have gone from plazmatic crms then koxx browns and i'm wanting a change and i have the echos in mind. secondly... my freewheels making funny grinding sounds so i think its time for something new and for that i'm looking at the tensile freewheel on tarty, is it any good? cheers Tim.

Hi, brake is all sorted now i had to do around 6 lubes on the left hand side piston before it started loosening up, i used supergrade engine oil lol but it worked pretty well. thanks for all the tips and advice. Tim.

Hi, when the brake was bled the tpa was right out as in not in the lever, is that not what your supposed to do? i've lubed pistons inside my lever and now the pads return but still poke out a bit and now its not too bad i just move the pads a little further away from rim to stop rubbing. thanks guys Tim.

Hi, I don't have an "real lube".. anyway i've just lubed them as you said but with fairy liquid which is a little slipperyier than soap sooo mite be okay in the morning? it feels like theres too much fluid in there though because it just cant stay in! cheers anyway. Tim.
