    koxx level boss before respray.
  6. owned a trials bike about a month now, but been riding several months and seem to be progressing quite fast.
  7. I'm running a copy of those cranks by acor and there indestructible slightly bent but that was the previous owner dropping a 5ft wall kind of harshly, don't bother replacing just make sure the bolts are done up and there is grease on the tapers. hope this helps.
  8. I've never ran my bike with a booster and its fine to this very day and it flexes hell of a lot.
  9. mech hangers bend too easily, single speed is the only way forward, its easy to do once you got all the tools.
  10. bought a fsa platinum bottom bracket for my jump bike and it bent within a few days, got a replacement and that bent the same day. had two truvative bottom brackets and the latest one is still going. the bearings go before it snaps/bends/anything.
  11. Had my rear brake mounts helicoiled last week at my local engineering firm, and it was £2.00 each, not quite £25.00.
  12. yeah what can i say? matalan are quality.
  13. my trousers got stuck and it shifted the rear wheel forward snapping the axle in a onza sealed hub.
  14. i've seen it a couple of times but is it rearly worth the hastle if you have a setup thats fine at the moment?
  15. Hi i've just started trials recently aswel and i've bought a second hand koxx level boss and its perfect for me. if i were you id keep an eye out for a second hand bike.
  16. well look at the seat stays and chain stays, and the dropouts don't exactly look amazing. not when you can buy a better frame second hand for similar money. oh its got reinforcements down the down tubes woopey do.
  17. It looks about as strong as cheese, ide rather put 50 quid towards a secondhand frame.
  18. Try kicking the pedals slightly while pulling up the bike and find the point of balance by leaning back and forth until you can keep it there.
  19. Cracked in 2-3 Places? well my frame has been rewelded where the chain stay joins onto the bb shell and its fine but i'm not sure if i would trust a frame thats been welded in 3 places.
  20. Its not difficult but you will need some specialist tools such as a headset press(if you don't believe in bashing a brandnew headset into a frame with a hammer and flaring the headtube) also you will need a bottom bracket tool, chaintool and just a set of allen keys and spanners.
  21. I think its wheel base is 1010mm but thats not a definate.
  22. Personally i cant feel any difference between them, the only noticable difference is the lever is ugly compared to the older models.
  23. I have a similar problem on my rear maggie but it is the little washer that is on the screw because it is slightly mangeld it isn't a tight fit. just do it up rearly tight or cover it with silicone or even better buy a spare one.
