  1. i've never rode a curtis t24 so i cant comment, but the iolos are nice, although the build quality of curtis stuff is amazing.its up to you.plus i think iolo gives you a bit more freedom on the geometry you choose.
  2. sorry to hear about that mate, it takes the Pi** you cant leave anything around these days, ill keep and eye out on ebay etc
  3. well said, i couldnt of said it better myself.
  4. my mate just just bought a iolo 24inch trials bike, and im very impressed with the build quality of the frame it has all the nice extras such as internal house routing,a plate on the bottom of the left chainstay etc its also made of the same steel as my curtis super x. try speaking to him or search iolo and find my mates bike pics, i'm sure he wouldn't mind if you pm'd him. hope this helps
  5. i totally agree and i try to buy everything i can from my lbs but some times being a broke student its not always possible and the internet is the only option. plus my nearest shop that stocks trials parts its 50 minutes drive from here.
  6. yeah i seem to have a similar problem, its all originated from playing rugby a year ago and since then its been nothing but trouble, recently it hasn't been so bad but usually it comes and goes. i visited the doctor when i first and i also saw a physio but it didn't rarely help that much. a couple of times i've gone to pick something up and my back has twinged and left me in agony.
  7. 6ft and i think ive stopped growing.
  8. i run this gearing too and i like it, athough i dont have the biggest muscles known to man, oh well.
  9. i've seen funnier videos. i agree with Meteor~ i dont see the point of doing huge drops that i would feel uncomforable doing, all it does is ruin your bike.
  10. from what i've seen of leesons the build quality is very good and from what i noticed they were not that heavy at all. nice and short but still very nice on the rear wheel. if i had the choice of a lesson i would definitely go for it.
  11. that video is painful to watch, its very frustrating, some one in the plymouth area must see it around.i know this is off topic but do you know bo critchley? hes moved to plymouth for uni recently and rides a leeson?

  13. i gave them a email explaining my situation and i'm still waiting for a reply, i hear that they are very good with warranty claims, its only the left crank arm that is bent inwards. thanks guys.
  14. ash kernard seems to know his stuff, but my mate had his level boss reweleded on the plate between the bb and the stay and he didn't heat treat it and its still going strong after more than a year. hope this helps
  15. has any one else experienced bending middle burn crank arms?, because last night landed a 4ft drop a tad harshly and i believe i have slightly bent my left hand crank arm. if so is it worth bothering with warranty even if its covered? i weigh about 11 stone and the bolts were tightened that evening
  16. a mate had his frame welded and the welding company did it for free i think, im not sure how much some one would charge oh and is it the right hand chain stay rite by the bb?
  17. umm i'm not sure if the moderators will agree with you.
  18. um yeah your hard? that is rearly going to convince the moderators to validate you.
