  1. The first part of that reply is a good idea!! I think I will do that because I've been offered a Zona Zip. I've ridden one before and I like it but there are a few other bikes in the for sale/wanted section that take my fancy. So I'll email and ask them what they think and if they would be a good bike for my size (5'11") Lower Onza range and Saracen? No thanks mate. I dont need a stater bike anymore!! I'm lookin for something that i can get cheap and upgrade. The T-pro and T-mag that i have ridden are all upgraded to the extent that only the frames are standard and I love riding them. If I bought a lower Onza range bike for £350, it would mean having to spend A LOT more money on things to make it a nicer bike. LINKY That is the ONLY Onza that I can afford with the £350 I have from selling my Giant, and to be honest, I've ridden the old T-bird when it was upgraded (RR Trials old bike) and it was nasty, quite possibly the worst bike I've ever ridden.
  2. Sorry dude, but I've already thought about it, and I can DEFINATLY ride a mod better than my giant!!! I'm not a short guy but the 20" wheels just feel more comfortable to me. Many people say I look too big for them but I'm not so sure. Anyone riding exeter on monday? I'll be there on a t-pro that I'm Borrowing just to get used to the mods. Tell me what you all think. I obviously won't be riding to my limit because it's not my bike!!!
  3. Stem height? Thats pretty much bar height. Depends on the rise of your stem, and from what I remember, yours has hardly any rise. I could be wrong though. No offense buddy, but you looked like you were struggling to get up that little wall on the seafront. I'd like to see you backwheel stem height though. Go make a video.
  4. I could probably get there. i rode in exeter a while back and i couldn't find anything
  5. Hey there everyone. I've been riding for about 8 months and can do most things in trials, as most of you know, ive been riding a giant trials team but i have grown fond of the Mods recently. I have £350 to spend on a mod. (2nd hand as new bikes are MIGHTY expensive) Can anyone recommend a good bike to get or if they know of someone who has one? I have been offered a STANDARD T-mag for £200 but it does have a tensile freewheel and ZOO! pads. However, the rear rim is buckled and it needs bb, cranks and disk rotor. What do think of that? All help is much appreciated Thanks Tom
  6. Neither can I. I just go on the persons profile, see if they have MSN or some form of contact details and ask them questions via that.
  7. Sounds like a mint bike to me. You buying it new? If I were you, I'd be thinking about a good 2nd hand bike. There's some good bikes in the for sale/wanted section of the members area. I'm always looking in there for cheap stuff. Find it 80% of the time aswell.
  8. You want to ride tomorrow? If not, i'll just come down on saturday. You have to show me the gap you are scared to do.
  9. Tomorrow. me and my mate will are probably going to come to torquay. We need to finish our video.
  10. ooooooo, this has intreiged me!!! I'm buying one of those when i get the money for my giant, i've found them to be an amazing ride, but now i've seen that, i'm not too sure if i want it anymore!!! ah well, if i crack it, i'll get a python
  11. its half term, im free all the time. 07968 952 328
  12. There was a topic on this a week or so ago. Search maybe?
  13. Alex, I've been watching that video of you and your mate on the Shogun Gimp. You do look like you struggle with that big T-rex. i started on a Giant Trials Team which is 26" incase you didnt know, but i always found it a bit difficult to keep the front wheel in the air due to the 26" bikes being that much heavier than a mod. on the video where you swapped bikes and rode the Gimp, you looked a lot more comfortable on that. I know you dont like 20" so im not saying get one. just go out everyday,l and PRACTICE! Practice until your arms feel like they are going to drop off. I used top do that and now i can do whatever you want on that giant, but i got bored and went mod!you will build up the strength and stamina you need over time. the more you ride, the more strength you develop.
  14. ill be there tomorrow if its still going on. haven't been on a big ride for ages.
  15. i can do both, use dreamweaver and write HTML. But if u are completly retarded, do a stupid piczo thing. no offence, but i think thats at your level. But spell check all your writing on word first before you put it on the web.
  16. With these yellow giant frames, they only made 500 with this paint scheme. I personally own number 107. The LEGENDARY Mr Hawyes personally designed the frame, it may be old but it sure as hell does the job. The frame you bought is most definatly not an official giant. They NEVER made a frame in those colours with horizontal dropouts and a bash guard. That is a cheap BMX frame with the giant colours and a crudely mounted bash guard on it. You are right, It certainly isn't a production bike
  17. hell yeah!!! They are awesome DVDs. Martin and Martyn ***!!!
  18. Oh fair enough then!!! i would split it, but i know i wont get interest in all the parts
  19. Keep trying it. If you dont think you can do that certain gap, try a similar one that is slightly smaller. Also, learn how to punctuate and spell. Off topic I know but your posts annoy the hell out of me!!
  20. yeah its on ebay. the parts aren't basic. the only bad thing on it is the front wheel. and i have a RONNIE rim to replaace the front one which im selling with it but i need to edit it into the listing. only dug it out yesterday.
  21. off topic, but seriously dude, learn to spell. back on topic. i saw some good riding on saturday. wish i was riding instead of watching.
  22. giant never made a frame with horizontal dropouts or that nasty bend in the top tube. it also only says "team" on there. a proper real one says "trials Team" if you want one of these bikes, i have one. email me on tombowman12@aol.com mine is 100% real and has some good components aswell
  23. ill be there, it is today right? the comp is only up the road from me but i dont have a bike to ride at the moment will have a bike for saale there if anyone is interested
