  1. GOOD. I like to think they listened to me and put a reasonable bb height on it. Anyone know if the rear end is 116mm?

    Tnn Mounts

Yep used mine no probs without a boostay.
  3. My rear Koxx rim has been fine, make sure you spend time dremeling / filing / smoothing the cut section though, or you'll be in puncture heaven.
  4. That was cool, reminded me of a few pretty decent trips I've had to Le Continent. Ali is pretty damn good at drawing. Made me excited for my 12 hour trip to the Alps in 2 days time!
  5. If an already existing tool couldn't be utilised to fit, even making a custom tool (like the Hope borecap tools, or old Echo external BB tool) would be fine, buy the bb and get the little tool in with it. But I agree the pins are a bad design. Overall though props for trying to make it work out
  6. With a t-pro sticker on it?
  7. Why would bleeding it make it squeal less? Hope disks do squeal. As long as its a high pitched squeal not a gobbling turkey style honk its normal.
  8. Either post a picture up, or ring up Onza.
  9. Serious? No don't drill your sidewalls, jesus. And I wouldn't bother with the swapthing, the knobs are too far apart to make it worthwhile, you'd probably end up with less grip as it'd be a mile before the next knobble 'engaged'

Because thats what was fashionable about 3 years ago and it has only just reached the north. I merely jest.
  11. out of interest, does the Giant have a fairly 'sharp' dent in the downtube sorta near the bb end? I lived in Kent, had the same frame and same seat, and sold it on, was wondering if it was my old one.
  12. 1. Buy white / orange strips 2. Stick to your rim. Looks like he's just ground certain parts of the rim to give a striped effect though.
  13. What a weird vid to put up Agree with the above comments, frame doesn't look like its doing him any favours.
  14. I have mine sitting on a shelf in my house. Its years old but still ever so slightly smells like shit?
  15. You people who wait till it snaps until you replace it have no regard for your teeth?
  16. Are you guys gonna pick the winner or is it going to go to some sort of vote? Please don't pick a shit looking one!
  17. We all remember when there wasn't trials specific stuff, and I for one remember almost dying on a number of occasions. With regards to you not being gentle on stuff that maybe so, but were you putting much pressure through them? I'm gonna guess by your current Rocket you arn't exactly a TGS rider who does power move after power move. Back when I had a Hope XC I had to send it back to Hope for a repair and borrowed my brothers Deore on D512 rear wheel. I killed the freehub within 2 hours of putting it on my bike. This is going back 10 years or so, so I wasn't exactly going massive. Since then I've killed 3 trials specific hubs and a couple that wern't (Kings). If you ride trials to a modern standard, yes stuff DOES have to be strong or you WILL end up with no teeth.
  18. Double wheel tensioner needed for real.
  19. Looks like it has a pretty solid spec.
