Yeah not sure why they dont come with 2 pins and a metal locking bar you can put across to brace the legs should the rams fail.

Anyway, what you need is:
- Merino base layers / thermals. Top and bottom.
- Merino socks. Decent ones, can get special thick ones from the likes of Smartwool for this kinda thing.
- Look at your footwear. Yes it has to be smart, but could you wear a smart thermally lined boot or similar?
- Could you wear a down jacket or gilet?
Today I wore: Merino baselayer, t shirt, sweater, thick fleece, (thin) snowboarding jacket and my hi viz goretex shell, with merino long johns and thick jeans, and merino socks x2 under Dunlop rig-air thermally lined boots.

I'm sure the farmers, builders, land surveyors, solar park workers and civil engineers all feel really sorry for you. As a geotechnical engineer who spent today stood still in a field in the middle of the somerset levels with it intermittently hailing, my heart bleeds.

I ended up buying an Onza Ibex 2.25 55a and 2 shwalbe nobby nics. Run a nobby nic out back and the onza on the front. Can't fault the Onza, great tyre.

That is a clean ass engine bay.

I feel like I'm missing out on drama / the potential to insult someone, can someone throw me a link here?

Why don't you get a cheap boring reliable estate (mondeo or something?) to get to work and ferry your bike about and that?

Try greasing the back of the bolt head so that doesn't bind and feel like it's tight when its not.

Unlucky, lord of lame.

What colour / set up is the front hub? I am also a tart and after a silver / polished king or pro2 front hub to go with my shiny rear.

Little did he know you are actually an anal acrobat! Jokes on him!

http://www.juicelubes.co.uk/ should have the bits you need, other than that aforementioned grease, and they are uk made.

Bought myself a load of bits but from others a can opener, waterpik, bed sheets, dressing gown x2, cider and night with my missy in a camping pod thing in the woods. So everything I asked for material possessions wise.

My argument is that by forcing the gearbox to change it's speed as quickly as incorrectly changing gear does there will be excessive wear on syncromesh gears and end bearings.
Skipping from third to fifth and missing out the potentially 1:1 ratio which is critical for smoothness just annoys me.
It pisses me off, it's just lazy incompetence and totally unneeded.
It's been my pet hate for my entire life as a passenger. As Prawn will testify. We have many arguments about it.
My dad says the same, and if he says it he's right.
You are one weird f**ker.

So do I.

M8 x 0.75 if I remember correctly. Length depends on application - single or double chainring.

The ENO has been around since i started trials back in like 2002. I've never personally owned one, but it was the number one choice for a freewheel and never really heard anything bad.
I think freehubs are the way forward. So i would recommend a CK BMX hub, Profile or Pro2.
48 engagement points (pro2 & profile) is more than adequate, all of the big riders use pro2's. 72 and 108 or whatever is just silly. 72 is silly? ..But you recommend a King? Get some leg power Whats leg power got to do with EP's?
But if you wanna choose a freewheel, all this new stuff that was engineered past 2006 is shit, stick to the roots and get a White Industries Eno. My ENo was shit, lockring constantly came loose and numerous people I rode with all had them (pre-Echo SL days) and all failed pretty quickly one way or another. Only plus point was you could replace every part separately.
I've had every freewheel / freehub under the sun and the Echo SL or Jitsie freewheel has been the most reliable.
Not to be purposefully argumentative or trying to be dick.

Ahh yeah. I thiiink they were like +40 with a longer back end? Either way, whatever stem I ran or whatever Isitafox suggests would be good. No point going massively high or long because stems are only like that these days to deal with the scourge on society that is the +80 bb.

IIRC they had graphics on the... seatstay I think saying what it is. Think they did a 499, 699 and 1499 or something. Was linked to the price, funnily enough.
http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/131331-yaabaa-1499/?hl=%2Byaabaa+%2B1499 That was mine from way back when.

1499? If so yeah +35, and if so good man they are awesome frames.
-
Yeah not judging at all, but there is very little you can do to feel dirtier than go out all night, get no sleep then wear the same clothes all day smelling of sweat, alcohol and Cathy from HR's minge.

Now i'm a little more sober and I can look back and laugh - went out for works Xmas do and what other way to celebrate it than getting absolutely mortal thanks to £65+ rounds in Vodka revs. I challenged the boss to get me absolutely f**ked last week and it's fair to say he did. CEO and COO kept getting me these horrible 60% shots. Got some funny photos though

Next day was a write off. Supervisor made me a little bed out of three chairs and put the project management board up to shield people from looking in the door and seeing what a state I was in. Thought I would be bollocked for basically doing nothing the next day but they just laughed it off and said it was worth it as the night out was awesome haha
In work the next day with the same clothes on? Classy

Yeah I run 1x10 with a 32t narrow wide chainring up front and an 11-34 cassette out back. Ideally you'd get a 11-36 cassette but depends how fit you are / how big your hills are.
