  1. As above...ive put some koxx forxx (420mm) ona zoo pitbull 04 frame(1080 wb one)...and have just found out they're designed for 405mm forks....will it make a difference? Mines currently running 20mm bb rise...but this seems a bit high? Help?!
  2. still going i think...they are in oranges brochure...and the raid xr was only released a while back
  3. yep...im starting to regret starting this topic......er, would it be an idea to lock it? Sorry mods.... :$
  4. That^ is a very good idea....id be more than willing to be one of these QC people as im on the forum alot anyway.....

  7. Zona = sub brand of onza Very string bike, stickers look a bit naff though and they are very long for a mod. Very similar geo to the Zoo! python
  8. Cool, ill do that then... would you mind taking a look at his posts?
  9. Onza woodstock... the fsas werent that bad were they? I used em for a while and was fairly impressed with them
  10. Just get an old maggie (04 shape) theyre stronger than the new maggies and dont eat themselves like the denguras!
  11. the best place is in classifieds..just wait till you get validated matey
  12. Are we allowed to do that? if so..thanks pashley26!
  13. is it worth dropping one of the mods a pm? .....we could have a validation thread.., i would have thought that would work
  14. Pads: Heatsink Xmas greens Time used: Nearly 2 months Rim used: try-all Mod/Stock: Stock Grind: Yes(light) Brake used: Magura, normal lever, normal hose, rb booster on 4 bolt Review: At first I wasnt that impressed. They didnt sound great and still dont, and wouldnt hold. After a week or so the hold and bite improved loads and bedded in nicely. They are also very impressive in excessively wet conditions. When used with a smidge of tar they have some noise, but for the majority of the time they are silent. The wear rate is decent, worn bout 1mm in 2 months.
  15. Try the xmas special ones...extremely good hold, work amazing in the wet and very very cheap
  16. Thats the thing, it would make more sense .... the mods must get so bored wading through the utter crud that turns up in NMC, wouldn't this save them the hassle and make sure people that deserve to get validated, do? The only disadvantage i can see in my own idea is that if someone joins, and has loads of friends they might nominate he/she, although if that person were friends with that many trials riders the chances are that he/she would already ride to a fair standard and therefore ahve a fair amount of technical knowledge.
  17. the woodstock is ok.. abit short though...but very light, its great streety frame i think
  18. Right, Just a quick question; one of my mates (by the name of ravemonkey )has been a member for 2 and a half months still isn't validated....All his posts are informative, good grammar, spelling etc and meet all of the criteria in the scientists guide to validation...he's broken no rules and responded to loads of posts.... Can i nominate him for validation? or is it against the rules ? Can a mod look at his posts please? Please don't flame me, im only asking....
  19. Basically what ravemonkey said.....discs do have more modulation and rim brakes are affected by wheel buckling...but is still prefer my 12 year old raceline with koolstops to any other brake ( apart from when it gets wet! )
  20. Plymouth sunday sounds cool....
  21. ERmm....this weekend..again, weather permitting?
  22. Heres my pitbull....photoshopped and non-photoshopped versions...is it worth de-stickering it ? Spec:04 frame, koxx forxx, v8s, megamo cranks, tryall rims, acs claw, hs33s, hansventure + kenda kinetic tyres tryall bars, Onza stem ,pig headset
