  1. 24" bikes arent really beginner bikes in the true respect, most 24"riders tend to gravitate towards them as they consider them as a happy medium between 26 and 20". They are lighter and shorter than 26", 20" are even shorter than 24" and are a lot lighter. If you're a real beginner you're probably best off getting a mod (20") but if you like the idea of a stock and have a bit of strength and technique then that would be an ok option. Onza zoot (24") mad 2six, saracen flea etc (26") onza t-vee, mag, pro etc (20") ^^ ^^ all good beginners bikes
  2. Any one else? Thanks for the replies!
  3. They are branded as "pimp my pedals" in my lbs....quite expensive IMO but look pretty snazzy
  4. That looks so good, chain ride looks awesome
  5. No riders at all want to go plymouth?
  6. UN53 / UN54...never had any problems in 1 and a half years of use... (un54 on onza, un53 on sarry )
  7. Anyone fancy a plymouth ride on the 21st ( Sunday ) ? PM me or reply to this topic if you're free.... Thanks!
  8. Those are awesome looking brakes, maybe a dig at the denguras( red ano cnc lever )?
  9. VERY unimpressive brakeset....no real bite and virtually no holding power....
  10. Roots manuva - clockwork....from Manifesto
  11. Basically i might be getting a zoo pitbull to replace my woodstock, but im not sure if its worth upgrading, the zoo will leave me £50 out of pocket once i get it welded, which is money i could spend on buying a new crank arm ( so i finally have a bash! ) and new trials specific bars......opinions anyone? Not sure of age of pitbull, but its in ok condistion, lots of scratches, with one crack under the headtube that i can get welded for £20
  12. Welcome to the Forum, follow the rules and be helpful, and you'll bve validated in no time at all!
  13. They look pretty nice, how they ride is a mystery to me as ive never seen one in the fleshlet alone ridden one, the spec seems pretty high for the money though
  14. Found a wee problem on the carb...the choke lever is close to snapping off where it goes into the carb, does anyone know where I can get a replacement from? ( dellorto flatside carb) Ill post some pics tomorrow
  15. The booster could have a bearing on the brake not gripping...a lot of the braking force wil get wasted flexing the stays
  16. looks really nice, never ridden a 24 so wouldnt know how good it is, none the less looks like a great ride
  17. bootiful ride........only wish i could afford one!
  18. Good price, they normally retail closer to the £100 mark so seems a bit of a bargain, and the white 'eisbar' (meaning polar bear btw) edition looks spanking
  19. It's some kind of glue like substanbce, leaves your rim covered in white gunk, and makes your brakes lock on, not great in my opinion...id go with a grind, nut as you've got chrome rims, maybe using some seriously soft pads?
  20. Im the same, i need my 50 for getting to college. It's got an Arrow expansion chamber with a dep back box from a dt125 ( also have stock one, but the dep came on the bike ) and a dellorto flatside carb. It's done 130025km from new, and the indicators dont work and it has no mot....yet. It also looked rubbish.....halfords spray painted black, so i resprayed it ktm orange and gloss black.
  21. tarty and airevalley dont appear to have them, although i will phone to check, int he mean time, does anyone know where i can get one now?
  22. Basically, is the rs50 any good? ive just bought a 99 S reg supersport with an arrow front pipe and flatside carb for 200 pounds.....What chance is there of it blowing up, and how fast will it go wityh the above mods? Cheers, Alex
  23. Does anybody know where i can get an onza/ ddg Right hand crank arm from? The only place ive found them is trialsshop.co.uk , but 28 pounds excluding post seems a little steep to me, any ideas anyone?
  24. The best is to use a fairly large diam. dowelling, then bash that through until the nut drops out of the bottom.
