  1. As much as I appreciate people's suggestions , I don't realllly want to spend any more money ..... So if people with experience with these rotors....or just well-educated guesses post in here that'd be ace
  2. I run a front echo 40mm on the rear of my Coustellier....best rim I've run so far ( try-all 47mm, echo 07 47mm, mission 42mm ) Do it !
  3. Just personal preference really...anybody had experiences with either? got them both sitting next to me....and im about to put anew brake on so thought id ask some advice as to which is most powerful. Brake is a 180mm Hope Mono Trial if that makes any odds at all..... Alligator rotor A2Z wavy I know they're both generic Chinese rotor ...probably made in the same factory; but any opinions from users would be ace Thanks, Alex
  4. Bike looks stunning Love it.....have a look at my v2 in the bike pictures thread; but i think yours is a wee bit prettier
  5. Riiight, well the rear mount is usually -20 when compared to the front mount? So i'd assume you'd need a +20 but im sure someone with more knowledge of DD and monty's will correct me
  6. Was agggges ago when i snapped my BB7 for the third time I'll be going back to that set-up for the summer though.... Nah, no vee forks and really cant be bothered with running adaptors and modifying my pads to fit in plaz backings
  7. Medium grind on both....and set-up square, im not bringing names into this though...as i'm sure it'll start a whole new arguement Suffice to say, I'd prefer to bring my custom to Steve @ heatsink I agree some do seem to last ages, and work extremely well though
  8. Haha sure was Thanks hombre.... Check out the Riding Pictures topic

  10. Front Back Arse King Failed tappy
  11. I'd say for the rear, buy some coust-sinks....after seeing with my own eyes how quickly the LGM's disappeared on 2 peoples bikes i personally wouldn't use them. However, on the front I'd definitely go with some onza citrus; both Joe Seddon and Andrei Burton run these pads and they perform brilliantly on their bikes. Certainly a good enough reason to run these extremely good value pads in my eyes
  12. Solidworks is ace only cad program ive used apart from google sketchup but so far very impressed Check my bike-build college topic for renderings of models i recently made.
  13. Merci definitely...Truro soon? or maybe Minions?
  14. In my mind there are no cheap decent pads apart from Onza Citrus.....coust pads, koxx brown and TNN are what i'd go for.
  15. Haha, I'm sure he'll appreciate that
  16. If they're onza citrus...they're epic on the front..not so amazing on the back though
  17. expensive and rare as buggery
  18. Aha, touche OBM... too true.....
  19. yeh same place as mine was i think?
  20. Enjoyed that, big improvement since trial of wessex (Y)
  21. If the wheel is over tensioned...or really abused, the hubshell can stretch causing the driveside bearing not to be seated properly, this can in turn lead to skipping. King do sell oversized replacement bearings in case this does happen.
