  1. get a middleburn ring or a raceface ring the dmr comes in different sizes and hole drillings make sure you have the wright one! my mate had a 35 tooth ring on a 38 tooth bash on his dirty jo once it should look fine
  2. no sure where it is .., this is my problem i need someone who knows there way around exeter il be comming on the bus or getting a lift from a mate i can meet you at the train station but we will still need a guide!
  3. make sure you spell check your posts! i ride a stock and use 26" wheels, but on my new onza t-mag i use a 19" rim on the front and 20" on the rear
  4. its worth trying a saracen or a revell there more towards the street style of frame saracens arnt very expensive new around 100 pound and revells are custom made for every person only thing with saracens the rear end isnt that strong mine lasted a year and was a learning bike so it had some real abuse hope this can help you out

  7. those welds on the seat stays dont look very well made to me the whole bike looks a bit cheap, not price but the production i would look for something a bit more robustand trustworthy

  9. heres a quick diy bodge if your cranks a rounded cut up and old plasic bottle and snip them in to slides and put them in side the square tapers of your cranks and whack the cranks back on and do the bolt up it will hold very tight and will last about a month have done it before and can keep you riding till you can get new cranks

  11. i think you need 3 working gears for comps on a stock bike no 100% check the rules
  12. have used both in my time and i like both louise for the lever feel( i like mine that bit softer) hope for always griping find a mate with a hope and another with a louise try them both if you can if your stuck for a decition i would go for the hope

  17. maggies have two different mounts evo mounts are for v brake bosses (two bolt) and theres the 4 bolt fitting common on most trials bikes there simple to buy and are easier to line up to your rim for that purfect brake grip get them from tarty bikes or your local bike shop should be able to order some for you
  18. thought you could only get bash plates on mods? if your getting a bash ring got for an echo i here there quite good, if your using a 22 tooth chain ring try a dmr ring thing, solid steel , you wont smash that! i use middle burns myself and never had and problems with them
  19. ive had many dx32 and there great really wide and quite strong its a cheep way or getting a really nice looking rim and there easy to drill it you drill them get rid of the stickers and they look like echo or koxx rims side walls will take a grind but not sure how many, i dont like to gring my rims
  20. i would go for a marzzochi fork like a z1 or the all mountain got to be sram gearing as for wheels go for a disk rim if you can if not try a pair or dx32's there mega wide and are really cheep(20 pound each) ive just finished building a freeride/4x bike for the winter saracen havoc 04 frame quad hubs and rims julie disks and sram gears
  21. another broken mech hanger and on a new frame this time where can i order a koxx mech hanger, or a similar replacement
  22. ive got a new 2006 maggie with the 45 degree hose mount and its way to long for my koxx. dont really want to zip tye it up everywhere and want to keep the bike looking clean and simple and cutting the hose down would look great. just need to now how... what tools and parts are needed thanks for the help maxxis26
  23. dont forget onza forks ive got fly guys on my stock bike and i love them but theres a big range have a look on there website as for a headset if its budget go for fsa like a orbital xl 2 or for quality you cant get better than a hope or chris king
