thanks man. my dad got a big 3mm thick sheet from work. i have no idea how much it would cost or where to get it from.. wouldn't thought aluminium would cost that much. it took me: . 1 day to design it and roughly cut both of them . 1 night to file them down and all that . 1 night to drill holes, make spacers, polish and set up the brake so 3 days.. just about you could probably put one together in a whole day or two maybe. depends how good you are i suppose... lol could make some more.. sell them off for a tenner ?? caspa.

thanks i made it with a hacksaw and a file. made a template, then traced it onto 3mm ali sheeting. aluminium is so soft you can make anything with it. caspa.

Nothing To Do With Trials But Awesooooooome!

that's MAF !! -
ye vees all the way. i reckon it depends on how good you are at trials though.. you dont want to get a disk brake for £150 if you dont do any front wheel moves. when you can get a vee for nothing. (mostly 30-40) id say a mag for the rear though. i wouldnt trust a vee on the back.. caspa.

i used a sanding disk when i did mine.. told my dad about grinding rims. he was like wtf and told me not to use a grinding disk otherwise it would destroy the rim. sanding disk made it rubbish. or you can go to a shop and they can sort it for you.. make it better. get a professional to do it ? caspa.

i went to an indoor skatepark yesterday and i was manualing down slopes really easy. i can manual over a jump box, down it, then along the floor for a bit. before i was rubbish at them and in just one day ive improved quite a bit watching the bmxs do them helped as well. so.. go to a skatepark and practise on the jump boxes. 45 degrees ? or any slope at 45 degrees ish. caspa.

i like all of the custom things on mine like all the bodges that i've done. it makes it unique. rather than a brand new bike with brand new bits on. also like the fact that my bikes the outcome of the x-ray i got in 04. i built it up to what it is today. new parts and all that. and all the custom stuff i've made for it ??? caspa.
