  8. Hi, i was out today and i was going in B&Q and i saw some trials bikers outside hopping around on all the wooden pallets. I watched them for not long and went inside, when i came out, i saw the manager talking to them and heard, "what is this so called trials biking??". The trials bikers didn't know what to say, therefore resulting in the trials bikers giving the man a massive lecture on all the different things you do whilst trials biking. This made me think 'so many people ask what is trials biking/ bike trials?', and i haven't ever yet been able to answer with a proper answer apart from "its where you hop around on and off of things and do tricks (which when said people automatically assume that you mean what bmxr's do down the skate park eg; back-flips, big jumps, etc)". I would really like to be able to inform them of the whole 'trials biking scene' (as it is such a brilliant sport and i do feel that people should know about what we do) but without having to say all the different moves and tricks that we do. So what do you say to people when people ask you "what is trials biking?" and has the phrase 'trials biking / bike trials' actually got a proper meaning/description? Thanks, jack.
  9. Hi, i don't see why everyone sees kool stops as being so 'bad'. I use them on a non-ground rim with a bit of tar and they work fabulously. Even when i didn't use tar they worked really well, but i suppose if you don't get along with them then its up to you. thanks, jack

  14. Hi, the best places to try them out is on curbs or pipes on the floor or something low so that if you fall off you cant damage anything. To practice try just doing front hops on level ground then front hop and while your back end it still in the air try leaning back and hop on your back wheel. Then when your 'OK' at doing them try just doing front hops on level ground then front hop and while your back end it still in the air try leaning back and hop on your back wheel but try and push your back end down and forward and pull your front end forward and up like a see-saw action, resulting in a wheel swap. Hope I've helped, jack.
