Your best bet Laurence is to go along to a few rides where you can see in person different types of riding and also its good to have someone to work up to so you can learn different moves/tricks but also to evole your own stlye and technique of riding. Aswell as Christophe said watch alot of different trials videos theres lots of different tricks and lines to learn. Biddle

It's ok to sit if your free coasting or just sitting down in a stand still but the frame is two low to have the saddle at the lowest to sit down and pedal. But with the seat higher it seems fine to ride round sitting down dose'nt feel to long, for trials riding stuff its spot on. Been to the local skatepark and feels perfect for bmx type riding and trials its a little odd coming from a long wheelbase bike but i feel in more control over this bike compared to other bikes and frames i have owned. Normaly theres about 6 to 10 of us but some rides we can get up to about 15 people thats if we put a post on the forum in advance we ride normaly saturday or sunday sometimes but like this thursday we ride in the week depending on work/school or college. Biddle.

Well we normaly start at the train station and riverside, then we come up to the castle and ride the stage and other bits round that area, then we head into town near NEXT and mcdonalds and thats about it really there are a few more bits to ride between areas but the main areas we stay at are stated already. Like i said you two are more than welcome to come with us once your bikes are sorted. Biddle

Hi there i know this is a bit off topic but did you and Laurence--Trials want to join a few of us in a norwich ride this sunday or maby saterday depending on what the other riders decide. On the crank the length should be on the inside where the pedal threads in if not take the pedal arm to your local bike shop and ask them to messure it for you or lay it next to another set of cranks that you know the lenght of allready to get a rough idear on the lenght. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=514 Tartybikes do stock in the cranks in 160 or 170 but they dont sell the arms separately according to the website so you might have to give them a ring to make sure. If they dont have a look on ebay or the forum if you find you have no luck in finding one pedal arm you might have to invest into a new set of cranks really. Biddle

I have been using a set of Echo SL disc only forks for the last 3 to 4 months they seem fine the only thing i would say theres alot of flex from them. I would go for something like Ali C said the SL forks are good but like said above this post you need to be a fair light rider while using these forks. Biddle
