My mate came round the other day and we did a mega sesh. He shat on me doing bench presses, I didn't even manage 45kg and he 50kg for 2/3 I think, but I did 20 52kg deadlifts when he only did 4. I also curled 30kg with a decent form, and flyed (sp?) 12.5kg on each dumbell. So all in all, made me happy, we had a great laugh anyway. I might have to join the local gym, a few of my other mates go there so it would be a right laugh.

I wish I had remembered that pic before.

Laquer comes off really easily in my experience, some paint thinners, white spirit or petrol should do the job.

Ahh every time I watch that vid it makes me smile, reminds me of a time when I enjoyed just being out with my mates. My mate had this little blue minimoto, and we started filming for this epic video where we'd be riding that, me on my jump bike, him on his bmx and both of us messing about on his minimoto, but we only got as far as recording the intro bit and a few clips, and recently he used that to make this well cool vid. Ahh good times.

Your not allowed to ride Bracken any more. Matlock Quarry is very very good, just up the road from Sainsburys.

Nah, I was a wee bit tiddly. Aye, tis a timeless classic that one.

Put one hand over the booster, can you feel it flexing when you pull the lever? Maybe your just pulling the lever too hard...

Wilf's (my brother) bike, I'm pimping the rear brake. Braided hose, neco pads the lot!
-
I f**king hope not, I've just bought one! Are all the bolts tight? Are the pads hitting the rim straight?

Yeh but, in Gone In 60 Seconds, he said don't play shadow games, because by the second night the heat is onto you! Big effort, one night, and shift 20 of them. We used a wheelbarrow once and balanced 6 on it.
-
Once the 4 bolts are set up they are stiffer in my experience, but it's just setting them up. It is a lot easy with new plastic washer thingies.

That sounds about right, but I used to run them tipped foward so all the sweep was facing upwards. They were excellent bars for the price I paid for them, they would have been a lot nicer had I changed the stem for a lower/shorter one, but I didn't get round to it before getting me new bike.

I bought my PR bars from my mate, he had taken off his 2007 221PR and replaced them with Zoo bars. I used them on my 06 Echo for a good few months. I then bought my 07 Echo, and it had 2007 TI bars in White, and for a month I had both bikes and rode both of them frequently, just because I could. The PR bars felt much more extreme to the TI ones, like they had more of a rise, more up sweep and more back sweep. It was only a few weeks ago, 3/4 at the most so I'm pretty certain. Here is a pic, it's kinda shite, but you can sort of see that the bend on the PRs are steeper than the TIs. Anyway, I could be wrong, it might all be to do with the different stems, but I run the TI stem with a load of stacks underneath so I doubt it would make a huge difference. EDIT: This is all just my opinion and speculation and stuff, it could all have just been the different stems, but I'm pretty certain it wasn't. Anyway it doesn't matter, as long as you like them matey, keep using them until you grow old.

There's a few riders in Braintree, but I'm guessing you already know that. Welcome to the forum matey, make sure you read the rules to avoid making any mistakes and you'll be validated in no time.

As said afor, the 2 biolt should be fine on that frame, and also I've had the Echo black and silver one in 2 bolt and 4, and the 4 bolt one was really hard to set up right compared to the 2.

Undoubtedly.

Well put Nick. I found that finding grip is always hard, at first I just couldn't do it. Gaps to front are often used in comp style riding, something I still havn't managed to learn.
-
The PR bars I had were 07s, and the TIs I have are 07s, they may have changed them for 2008, but they rode completely differently. Those are both examples of bars I have never owned. And the topic is about 221PR bars, not 219. Yes I do say, because I had them on two seperate bikes and I was riding both bikes at the same time for a few weeks, they are very, very different.
-
I've had both, and sorry but they are completely different, the TIs are much less extreme, they have less rise, less back sweep and less up sweep. I much prefer the TIs, with the PRs it made it much harder to control the front wheel when I was hooking, as it seemed to want to flap to the side. But, to answer the question, I reckon they'd be stronger, they certainly seem stiffer and I think they are a bit heavier, so there is more metal there.

All valid points, but I don't want to be taking supplements and shit, I do want to get bigger, but not huge. I don't actually want to get any bigger than the guy on the left, think it's Rowan.

Makes you feel so satisfied when you get results, and also you generally feel better, like have more energy and stuff. It also helps me to sleep better, so I wake up in a much better mood. So yeh, personal satisfaction, feeling healthier, more confidence in your abilities, I could go on. Is it only me that also wakes up the next day feeling like someone has comes along and cleaned your insides over night?

Why is the Welfare being offered to anyone? He can work, he is fit enough and physically able to earn money and so is his wife, so in my view they shouldn't be ellagable for benefits. But then theres the problem of finding them work to do, (I'm talking about all people on benefits who could work), I know people that are struggling to get work anywhere, like in the supermarkets, despite having decent GCSEs and stuff. I don't think we have enough employment oppourtunities to fill up the population. All the lower class type people used to work in factories, and now a lot of the factories have shut, meaning there is no more manual labour to be offered out. Also, a lot of the mines have closed.

That would be minty, hopefully see you there buddy!
