My thoughts exactly. Tucking is pretty essential to huge sidehops, but I don't particularly relish looking at someones boxxers/crack. I've seen videos on youtube of people doing piddling little sidehops and "getting some monster tuckage". Why? It just makes you look like a retard! If you need to tuck on a big sidehop then fine, but this one was less than 3 feet. I'll see if I can find the vid.
Slacken all the spokes, and retension them so it's round again, if it's bad you may want to considor making it more round again. So the real answer is, use both a hammer and a spoke key!
Stronger than a T-Pro, but not as nice to ride. My mate quit but still has his, it's pretty horrid to ride, it feels cramped and the bb is quite low, but it's a good few months since I rode it, so my memory might be telling fibs to me.
Vees can be made better than maguras, and also for a £330, look at the rest of the spec! Try-All tyres, wheels, frame and fork for £370? The bottom one is £330, he is going for the £370 one.
To be honest matey, your best bet is just to buy one and ride it, build up some opinions of it for yourself, and keep practising. Then you will be able to decide what your really want to do with it.
I just did my Monday routine for the first time in about 6/8 weeks, forgot how good it feels when your muscles are all pumped up with blood. My lifts havn't gone down at all! I thought I'd be back to square one but they've stayed at where I left them. I'm doing the Tuesday routine tommorrow, I missed it out yesterday because I rode my motorbike all day, so my back and shoulders are still sore from that. Oh happy days. Monday Routine: Flat Bench Press. 3x10. 22.5kg barbell. Incline Bench Press. 3x10. 17.5kg barbell. Flat Flys. 3x10. 5kg dumbells. Incline Flys. 3x10. 5kg dumbells. Underhand curls. 3x10. 12.5kg barbell. Hammer curls. 3x10. 5kg dumbells. Overhand curls. 3x10. 10kg Barbell.
Because I like doing it, and it fills the hours. I'll probably quit biketrials and stick to motorbike trials when I get old, but for now, I'm here to stay.
Everyone says that Rock Blues are brilliant, but I've had them twice on two seperate bikes, and they were pretty crap. That was with a hefty grind, water bleed, and a posh lever blade in one case.
