  3. Hey, Dry out the inside of the grip. before you put it on breath down it with your hand over the end if needed? then put it on, you may need to hold the bars and use your hand as a hammer! If the grrip stil turns: twist untill dry! hope that helps! dan
  4. Hey folks, Looking at buying me one of the brake levers from tarty, anyone got one and are they any good? Does it feel any different and does the back brake work better? let me know, ta. Dan
  5. sorry to hear it mate, dont know the circumstances but shouldn't leave a bike like that unattended and not locked up...

  9. About a foot over my bar height... Want to push myself as i think i can go higher but just dont like the pre-load where the obstacle seems massive before you actually attempt it! Dan
  10. I don't understand? Step going up? What!? Can't even begin to imagine what you mean.... Step as in Steps you walk up, or getting up something? With front still up or what?? Anyone else not understand??
  11. have you bought one of each pad? If so why? If not then put the koxx on and set-up the brake! Then just ride around with the brake on and hopefully over time you'll get a squeak. Keep doing it untill it sounds like a pig being killed and you cant pedel anymore and hey presto!!! Dan
  12. Use spell check! Especially if you cant spell luck!... Perhaps you're just unlucky and it's fate saying don't ride trials other wise something bad will happen?? maybe?? Also alext spell check is top right when writing a response, across from the font options..
  13. that's a really fast way to get validated! lol...
  14. Only 11ft. Would do bigger but i soak up the landing like a sponge and headbutted by stem & frame a few time!! It was ok though! My face stopped my body from getting hurt!
  15. Hey, Welcome to the forum! Next to your name down the side it will say your county underlined and possibly in bold? Click on that and it will take you to a page showing all the trials riders in your area... Bristol - home of Rowan. I know that much! happy hunting and riding!
  16. Look on tarty loads of awesome pads, i'm running the Onza Citrus pads. Only £11 sound nice but not too loud. Quote: I have Try-all fluro green 26" rims with no grind and zoo pads, they are deafening in a good way they are so loud neighbours come out of there houses to see what the commotion is! lol! believe thats the last thing you want, someone i know got beaten up by a couple of chavs because his brakes were annoying and loud... dan
  17. Hi, Just thought i'd stick this vid on, quite cool. Anyone seen it or know who the rider is? looks American to me, he does seem to have a ryan leech like style so could canadian? http://www.boreme.com/boreme/funny-2006/sticky-tires-p1.php

  19. I don't ride MOD but a mate has the above forks and always going on about "value for money" i'm guessing they're alright??
  20. no, thats front hook i believe...
  21. Hey, i'll explain. Try riding up onto a curb face on and pull an endo, now your weight is over the front (shagging the stem). As you let the front brake off throw the bike between you and put all your weight over the back... After that try maybe pedal hopping to front with a bit more speed, after doing that try static hop to front and you should have the basics sorted.. Hope that help? Dan
  22. Hey, Yeah i'd say there worth it. I'm running single speed and use the DMR tension seeker mk II from tarty and it's looks cool and keeps the chain tight. Although i did like my rear mech and a couple of gears for long distance riding...
