What's with this Ash guy!? The amount of posts of his i've seen where he hasn't actually given advice but only slagged off the person or post i think he's well out of order... I'd ban you and your gay yellow shoes if i was admin... by the way: I'm liking the zhi frame in blue, anyone got it? What they ride like?

Hi there, Well it all depends on what your looking for? Have anything in mind? Should try not to be so vague then you'd get better responses... Without knowing what your running, colour schemes or whether you've had before.... Middleburns are what alot of people use, including myself. [Edit: didn't realise you rode mod so forget that and look on tarty!] Have a look around though, www.tartybikes.co.uk - they normally have some decent deals or cranks floating around, they are also well helpful!!! hope this helps, Dan

Don't be stupid, it don't matter what sex you are when it comes to trials. My mate tim is a girl (when it comes to trials) so if you enjoy riding, have others to ride with then carry on!! It'll be cool to have some girl riders where we are (espically if they fit!), i'd personally love to have a mrs that rides trials so then i can ride with them / on them!? On a serious note, keep it up!! Don't matter if your a girl if your enjoying it....

Bristol is pretty good for riding, they have funny accents too so they won't notice your foreign. Hope this helps!

I'd like to say Porter or Nick G - either one is pretty awesome. Love porters style but Nick is just so techy and class...

Yah true.

Hello mate. Yes good idea, with Christmas coming shops and online shops are going to slashing the price of alot of frames so you should have a look around? Do you have anything in mind? if you haven't been riding that long then i'd recommend something "cheap" as with trials it'll get destroyed (raped, scratched, dented, burned, dropped, pi55ed on?) yes you name it, trials bikes have been at the forfront!! I'd recommend: echo pure Ashton Justice or maybe an Echo Control? all depends what your looking for really? If your still not sure look around this forum should tell you all you need to know dude... Hey, I've never ridden mod only know stock so it depends what your looking for? I'd recommend the Saracen 2.six (26" hence the name as they make mod too.) its roughly £250 depending where you get it from. Very nice to learn on, nice to be on the back wheel, comes with a nice setup but would say it needs a magura for the rear and chain shorter. Apart from that awesome. Good value for money, light and strong what else can you ask for!! Have a look: http://www.discountbicycles.co.uk/biz/prod...470&xSec=12

Does Any One Have Any Other Hobbies Apart From Biking

Banging his bird after Ash has had a go and playing football! -
The 26" version is awesome for starting trials on! I bought that bike in full from my local bike shop as i wasn't sure whether i could get into trials riding. Its so nice to learn on. It loves being on the back wheel and easy enough to change over bits and bobs as you progress into trials riding. I sprayed the frame and forks white and it looked sick! i'm now riding an Echo Pure and it was a nice move from the 2.six to the echo. Overall to start trials or learning that bike is really what you want! cheap, reliable, strong and light! what more can you ask for!? 8/10

first things first, get a bike.

Ever Get Fed-up Of Your Local Area?!
Ghetto Rider replied to Ghetto Rider's topic in Beginners Trials Chat

Hey Guys, Lately i've been getting fed-up with my local trials area as there is a lack of stuff to ride. We do have some cool stuff but it's just been milked so badly i loose heart when it comes to riding these places... Which is why we normally try and get out of our town and ride other cities / towns... I do like riding palets now and then but it's too much effort to ride to where they are, set them up, make a little course then start riding... Also at the end if you don't put the crates back they're not there when you next come back so this adds effort. Anyone got any valuble ideas for me to boost my spirit of riding my local area???? Lets hear some ideas then fellow forum-ers!! Dan
