  1. i'm sorry but i really don't like thia bike the way the top tube bends makes it look very odd n them chainstays how they go to a point where the axle is looks again, very wierd. i'm sure the bike will ride awesomely purely because it's a monty but looks wise i wouldn't have one.

  9. hey, a while back i was reading a thread and someone was on about a candian bike shop which sold bike parts way cheaper than in the UK. I've used the search but can't find the thread it was on. Can anyone remember the name of the shop? cheers

  11. hey, well yesterday my deore rear hub finally gave up and died i've also noticed my rim is splitting at the joins so i am going to order the new '07 Pro 2 hub in gunsmoke but i was wondering what rim colour i should go for. My bike is a T-Rex and the colours on the actual bike will be all black and silver therefore i would like my rims to be colourful. I was thinking of maybe the flouro green or yellow or maybe the gold Echo because i have a black and gold cruiser and that combo looks amazing. Also spokes, i'm getting all my parts from Tarty so what spokes from them have you have the best experience from strength wise? Give me your suggestions!! thanks.
  12. The rear braking wall on that BMX is HUGE! It must be twice the thickness of the front! I bet it's strong as but must weigh some. Beautiful Echo though
  13. hey, i would like to try comps this year but i haven't been riding long but I can do all the basics; pedal hops, small side hops etc. i will more than likely be coming on my own as well. i ride a T-Rex singlespeed also is this a okay or will i have to put my gears back on to ride? cheers Jonny
  14. i personally ride in K-Swiss' (the 3 velcro strap ones) as they are light and grip soooo well as of yet i haven't ever slipped off with them even when wet! i also have some lace-up K-Swiss' but they are no where near as good for some reason so i stick to my trusty velcro's!!
  15. i say save up a little bit more and get rock pads new green pads. They are amazing and still work, with power like a koolstop, in the wet well, i say wet i tried mine in the snow and they still worked pretty good.
  16. Hey, I was just wondering really, is there any rule of what length bike you should have according to your height? I ask this because when people are first starting off in trials how are we supposed to know what length bike to get first of without buying different frame before they find one which suits them? My bike is a T-Rex and to be honest it does feel long for me and I am struggling to learn how to gap the front and then onto back wheel but i am going to stick with my frame because i had only just bought it and i want to get some good use out of it before changing it. Maybe it is because i have not be riding for very long, but practise will make perfect i'm sure! Cheers
  17. had a loan off my dad paying him back £100 per month till the debt has cleared, plus 0% interest as well

  19. hi just a quick question this one, what does evrybody think to the hope braided hosing for maggies (rear). My dad sayz it would be a good idea to put it on but what do you lot think? I'm not bothering with the front because that will be replaced by a BB7 in the next couple of months, its just the rear i would be putting it on if i get it. Cheers
  20. awesome cheers folks you've pursuaded me will get hub 1st nxt months and then brake month after because i get paid monthly and have a car to run
  21. hey, After sorting out my front maggie (works real nice now) i have been thinking of the advantages of putting an Avid BB7 on the front (203mm) (would put a Hope on but cannot afford it and i have heard good things about this brake) and running a echo front hub ( i like the idea of the allen bolts becuase i've already messed up my QR quite a bit on my deore) but my question to you lot is what lever and cable would you recommend? I have a shimano deore V-Brake lever and cable (brand new) hanging about would this work nice or would you recomend something else? I want the brake to feel very solid because i hate squishy feeling brakes. Thanks for the advice Jonny
