Looks very nice, but can that frame take rear disk stress ?
yes it can unlike the original giant trials frame (blue red an yellow) because it has a plate welded on at the stress point and the seat stays are stronger aswell
My Giant Trials Team 2004.....I just built the new front wheel Mavic EX 721 on a Hope ProII, as it was here in my room I decided to take some pictures.
that looks awesome but y the odd seat position (really far forward) isn't that really uncomfortable to ride on???

661 veggie shin pads are good an so are the fox versions (that hav been around longer) are still available from STIF bikes, both hav saved my shins on numerous occasions

Dude we have things called hydraulic brakes now lol jus kiddin i have that brake ont front its effing awsome ! any way nice bike !
Adam
nah that front brake is crap i chucked it on just to get the bike running for heath, oh yeah cable brakes are awesome if set up right an hydros the same, theres no better brake type
That looks well cool, dont get disks, stick with the vees and get some heatsink pads and they will be beast.tru heatsink v's rock (i've got the cousts on my pitbull) but v expensive an the discs work well enuf
Didn't the Mavic 121 get rebranded as the Mavic D521?...which is now the Mavic EX721??
the 121 was better, stronger, wider the 521 was no where near as good an now the ex721 is worse, bring bk the 121's i say
hope u enjoy the bike heath, its a wicked little frame
talk soon m8, ben

i do believe that this has already been done before by a couple of pro riders some years ago, but still a good idea for helping the sport grow (what about insurance costs though)

Is it a lost cause to try and learn 'new school' sidehops on my Pashley 26mhz?
I mean, I'm never going to be able to 'tuck' because the frame is too big and there is a seat!
Thoughts?
u dont tuck in2 the frame or seat, so give it a go
-
