Don`t really like it im afraid.
fair comment.
modman cheers for the comments, its actually spot on for me @ 6'2" v light an v easy to chuck around, now fitted a freebie 2.4" rear panaracer tyre (had to cut the side knobs for it to fit wivout rubbing the frame), and putting my maxxis high roller on the front, hehe
keep the comments coming peeps

my high roller is torn on the sidewall, so its gaffer tape to the rescue, an my freebie back tyre panaracer 2.4 is so big that i need to atack the outer nobs with a pair of scissors just so it fits my bike, lol

I originally thought that three people started it up, or at least deng did, with the help of two others, one being lee shi ming (aorta) and then the other guy. I read somewhere that the other two had a fall out with deng, lee shi ming started aota obviously and I havn't a clue about the other guy...
It wasn't the owner of zhi was it??
as in yao zhi???

its a shame that monty are getting such a bad reputation, back in the day (12 years ago) monty an megamo were the big (and probably only) makes for trials
-
I don't know anybody round my area that does trials, also on here there is nobody my age that does trials, will it be harder for my to learn?
Any clubs around wolverhampton or in wolverhampton that teaches trials. Will halfords or leisurelakecyles bleed magura hs33's probaly not but just wondering. I heard there's a club up in stoke on trent but can you get lessons there?
both those shops should be able to bleed your brakes for you, and maybe be able to tell you about any local riders
-
what about some more: zap-tap, sidehop, endo's and front wheel pivots, back wheel pivots, bunnyhops, stalling, etc etc etc
-
thats a vast improvement, fair play 2 u m8

looks nice m8, good job, hopefully if i come to plym next month i'll finally be able to ride with u.

Does anyone use a bb5 and do they no if they are any worse than a bb7 preformance wise, thinking of using one on back as not got enuff cash for a bb7 and can get bb5 cheap. At first i didn't think there would be any preformance difference because its just the fact it doesnt have the adjuster, but then i noticed the pad shape was different so thought it was wise to ask.
yep i use a bb5 it works as well as my m8s bb7, i've no complaints an would reccomend them,

There are lots of advantages of going to the opposite direction to your lead foot and i'm sure you'll find them if you do a search. Can you name more than 1 very good rider who don't sidehop that way?
i could name lots of riders who go big both ways, thats more important after all, i know the advantages, but sum people just find it easier going same foot to same side, so y stop doing summit your better at just because eeryone says its not a "proper" sidehop, a sidehop is a sidehop no matter what way u do it after all.

Rims dont come pre ground as they would cost a fortune to do!
Onza made some knurled rims a while back, dont think they took off though...
Grinds are there to increase grip due to the sharp surface after a grind.
Smooth rims will be ok soon anyway as the weather is getting better so no need for them.
xactly, well said si-man

echo pinks, smooth rim, rain, no problems
after all rain affects more than just braking: pedal slippage, tyre slippage, etc
-
you can grind a good rim many times, it gives better performance in wet and dry and good pads (phat pads or plazzies) for example will last 6 months tops. Many companies give you the option to have a ground rim but as it depends on personal preference about the sort of grind, some do not. It is easier and less costly if a grind is done by the rider as the amount of grinding discs needed would probably far outweigh the profit.
smooth rims are shite, as the braking is far worse and wont work in wet or dust.
grinding has got stupid since it 1st started of years ago, then a grind was channels every cm to disperse water. my brakes work in the wet and dust without a grind and work immensely well in the dry aswell. its all a case of following the crowd it seems nowadays (and i know the benefits of a grind thanks )

whats wrong with sidehopping the same side as your lead foot, if it works it works (theres no right or wrong way to sidehop IMO/ what you say is a proper sidehop isn't really true), whats more important is being able to go both ways, an you'll probably alwaays go higher 1 side than the other. just practice both ways, the more you practice the better you'll get.
-
grind and CRV plaz you cant go wrong! smooth rims are shite!
pooooooop!
if smooth rims are shite, then y dont companies just make rims pre-grinded, oh wait i kno its because there not! grinds are fine if your loaded or sponsored but the -ive of a grind outweigh the +ive IMO, smmoth rim an echo pinks ***
