dude that is some v tidy work goin on in ur ear, i'm liking the punch btw(or waz it a stretch, which i'd imagine wld absolutely kill lol) on the update front for piercings unfortunately my apadrvya is no more , but i hav my lip pierced now, an still have 2 in my frenum ladder an planning another 3 more lol, i also had my tongue pierced horizontally, but cldnt eat properly, so it had 2 come out , it waz v kool though

m8 it could be a keloid, if it is an alcohol wipe shld help clear it, but best 2 get advice from ur body piercer

shouldn't hurt much at all, just a second or so, my advice would be to say u can't take it out an say u have a minor infection, (even if u don't) , so if u take it out an the infection heals inside u can get septisemia (blood poisoning) and they wouldn't wanna be responsible 4 that (as people can die from it (in extreme cases)

30mm bar in my arm and 12mm bar behind my ear, an soon to get pocketing, doesn't hurt

just going from what i'm told by a professional thats all, its crazy what can be done, the 2 pierce pocket method is intersting an i've seen a surface to single pocket type version aswell, i myself will be getting pocketing done quite soon, update, last piercing- frenum, abit tender an power moves on my bike and cold weather not such a good thing for it, but oh well!!! but no pics lol

true but pocketing isn't a curved bar of metal its like a flat bar with recessed (lower) ends that sit at an angle away from the bar , it'd be to much trauma to have the pocketing tucked back under the bar itself, and a staple is just a shape of bar so it can be used in a surface piercing, but there are many forms of piercing an pocketing, so my arm piercing is a surface type with a staple (shaped bar), an from your pics of a 'staple' that would just fall out lol

yes a surface piercing using a staple shaped bar, an external type (the other way) is pocketing
