  1. The man's got a point, Not too sure how it'll be for the disc but for my maggie, water has been the best thing I've done to it !! All the stories about brakes going squidgy and being a safety hazard because of the Oxygen compressing are a load of T*SS ! To answer your question, just pick up a hope bleed kit and d.i.y, or take it to your local shop Joel
  2. Jaysus ! Must be useful in certain situations but it's got to have some down sides in later years ! Creeps you out a bit having no sound aswell Joel
  3. Nice how much did you pick it up for ? Just me being picky because i'd ride it as is but theres a few cheap jobs i think you could do to really improve it... Save having to buy a whole new rear rim to match, stick some white rim tape/electrical tape on the front, would look really smart I rode my t-mag with that stem for ages and i thought it was fine, i was advised to get a lower one (echo hifi) and by god did it make a difference so thats something to change for deffo ! The pedals are the only other thing that let it down a bit, spray 'em black and they'll look a hell of a lot better. Good Luck with it dude. By the way, they look like bmx cranks but what are the cranks on there ?? Joel
  4. Yeh Kials told me about this, was extatic wen he knew he had it then Ben goes n does this ?! and has the cheek to say kial messed him around ?! Sort it out ay Ben

  7. Good move mate ! I've got a Louise FR and it's perfect ! just do the old water over the caliper when you're bedding it in and it'll be so good to you ! It's got a sharp bite when you need it and enough play in between to get gaps th front wheel right So if you didn't get it from above its a gorgeous brake and well worth the money Joel
  8. Hey I've got a T-Mag myself and it's been really good to me, it's one of the older ones (got it soon ofter it came out) and the frame is perfect, no stress marks so the newer improved one's should be great The freewheel's don't blow up, they just fall apart and skip as a £12 ACS would, i whacked a Tensile (£35) and a mate of mine that has a King says it feels lovely so deffinately go for one of those An Echo Hifi stem, and ZOO! bars totally change the feel of the bike, for the amount it'll cost you, it's soooo worth it ! So nothing that'll actually break badly, just a few things to upgrade A.S.A.P as the factory parts suck ass Hope that's reasurred you a bit Joel
  9. Welcome to the forum chap, your bike sounds absolutely mint have you got any pictures by any chance ? if you haven't been here long then you probably wont have a photo bucket registration.
