  1. Cheers for the comments drop was about 10ft lovely head-banger when i landed so that was the nicest frame off the clip lol Joel
  2. Daymn this is a useful topic, keep 'em comin I'm in school at the moment and just used one to get on chain-reaction Joel
  3. Yeah only £450 for the frame, no worries try Tarty Bikes you could pick up an onza for a pretty reasonable price from there. Or if you know any full members on here, have a look for a decent 2nd hand one and get a member to make a post for you Joel
  4. I got maself an '05 T-Mag, pretty short but its riding really nicely at the mo, going to a Gu soo if the right one pops up on here Joel
  5. Tensile *** !! i've had mine since july last year, they skip temporarily when bedding in but afta about a week, they are the nicest sounding and feeling freewhels around. Plus you save yourself £50 which you can get something else with Joel
  6. Hey all, this is basically my trusty 'lil T-Mag and I over the last few months. All comments appreciated and I am thinking of spraying the frame white and the forks black. do a negative of whats there at the mo Joel
  7. Bitumin = Tar lol thats wat they use to do the roads, roofs and most importantly our squeaky brakes IF you can get hold of that from your local, then do !! and a grind can be better than tar but with the right setup, pads and a decent amount of tar your brake'll never slip on you Joel
  8. I wanna see it soo badly but neither the link or the website are working for me, could anyone post a piccy up by any chance ? Joel
  9. Yep i've got an onza aswell and they all run internal headsets so no pretty colors fo' you my friend Joel
  10. Very noice job just thought of something even sexier, if you can mask off the holes, then spray it black and have the silver holes, would look soo nice i think and you could be getting your self a little business going here !! Joel
  11. Hell yes you did and to get it louder you do the same for all freewheels and hubs, clean it all out, take it apart of you dare and when its all clean layer it in WD40 and re-assemble it, it will be a lot louder as WD40 is less dense than the factory grease so it muffles the sound less but WARNING doing this doing this could damage your hub or take away that patented Ck smoothness. The factory lube is better protection for the components but gives it that hum. the WD40 doesn't help the internals as well but sounds bleddy marvelous !! Tis up to you mate Joel
  12. I can see you're trying to make an imaginative topic but please try harder deary ! And in answer, gotta be my dustcap, flying stones everywhere could destroy my perfect pressures !! Joel
  13. Dear God the boy has got it ! I'm gonna try that, i used tyre-shine once lol i was very bored and there was a gleaming yellow can of it, worked a treat , yeah use cillit bang It's actually good for your disc and if you get some of it with water you can wash everything else down. Use kitchen roll to dry everything and go round with a can of WD40 afterwads in all the right places Joel;)
  14. In I.T designing a menu for a local restaurant, got bored of trying to find posh names for fish 'n' chips so back to the forum Joel
  15. You'll owe santa about 3 lifetimes of goodness for that lol sounds like a bit of a sexy setup aswell i'd have that but with a blue theme, blue King hubs and echo lite's ! Joel
  16. Ali ! finally posted in a convo i can get hold a you lol if you're selling your pads yet, ill take a pair !! and how much did your rear vee setup set you back ? Joel and i run a maggie on the back, sharp grind with koxx blues which are gay ! and a louise 160 disc up front, best disc i've ever felt !!
  17. I got that wheel on mine and it's been nothin less that awesome Never had to true it even thought its taken countless hard rims (bouncy pressure hehe) and the onza sealed hub which is on that is actually suprizingly good! so i reckon 40 would be about right the red rim tape is laim though whack some white, black or gold in and it'll look soo much better. I used tin-foil on mine and it looks gawjus lol Joel
  18. I can see where you're coming from Matt but it's his choice, if he wants to ont wear one thats his problem if he ends up in A&E not yours. I don't know any trials rider that says they look cooler withouth their helmet so i don't really know where that came from. In answer to the actual thread, gettin a new one pour la b-day - Linky to Wiggle.co.uk cheapest, best looking helmet i've seen, just hope its comfortable. Shout out to anyone that got one...reviews pweez ? Sorry to have a go, just a bit annoying when people go off the topic and accuse others of stuff they never actually said! Joel
  19. arite, cheers CJ I'll post a pic up of it wen i've sprayed it probz get it ready tomoz then spray it moday and do it through the week so i get a loada layers on. let me know if you powder coat yours aswell! Joel
  20. just found the nicest looking helmet for under £40 i think i've ever seen ! Linky to Wiggle.co.uk The black one with the gold visor = gawjus !! Joel;)
  21. Yeah black and white always work beacuse of the contrast but i was thinkin of makin a fade, white front, fades to polished the middle then a black rear triangle Joel
  22. Ooh nice! lol that wasn't too bad, he got up and walked off straight away so he wasn't in agony and that was from a drop, which your rail gap won't be Joel
  23. not horrific as the thing im bast at in trials is bailing and saving my bike Misjudged the gap, came up short, wheel slipped to bash, went to jump over the bars and caught the tounge of my shoe on the lever so i went down 3ft face first with ma bike folling shortly after, managed to get my hands out though so it wasjust a kind of brush my gloves off and gave it another bash. Just go for it unless it's like a PB gap for you between the rails then you should be sound, you don't have a huge amount of speed so bails are easy...(er) lol Joel
  24. Yeah lovin it Dick where the hell did you get the beige tyres from ? I've been looking aaalll over for them - one thing tarty hasn't got Joel
  25. Why thankyou CJ Dear ! i was soo pleased when i sprayed it but it's gone a bit gay now, never use matte paint and clear lacquer! it goes all bobbly lol I have ragged it rather a lot but that bike has been really good to me. I've learnt basically everything on it and im thinking about spraying it again white or a decent black, whatcha reckon ? Joel
