A nicely setup mod will be just a nice to ride as a stock and vicer versa. As loads of people said before, its all down to personal preference; what type of riding you like and also what height you are.

ahh.. none of us have got cars so if you were getting the ferry to st.malo then a few jsy riders could just be cheekey and scrounge a lift from you lot there lol. But there are no jersey ferries to callais anyway Also, I just realised i got my motorbike test on the 26th so im out, but i will speak to some other riders and see wat they rekon. Will tell them to get back to you if theyre interested in going, so cheers anyway but i wont be going. Cheers, Hope you all have a good trip!

Umm if its new you have to bed it in. They dont tend to have much modulation so can be quite on/off or over the bars lol. Sometimes hard to go down hills but you will become real good at stoppies They dont lack power thats for sure. Very simple and easy to fix, all sorts of leavers/cable available for them. Best cable disk ever! Personally, I dont rekon hydro's are much better, they just feel nicer and have more pimp factor lol.

Why dont you look in "fs/wtd" or "classifieds" as it's now called. But you can't buy anything off the forum yet because youre not validated.

That is a lot better because I really dont think someone would setup a huge website and spend a lot of time talkin to people (on msn) about his shop just to con someone out of £75, or am I being to nice? Back to being negative, What he could do is...... sell a couple of frames and let everything go fine and then once quite a lot of people have placed an order (so they have paid but not received the frame) he might just dissapear. E.G If he sold 3 frames and all went well then a lot more people will feel secure about it and possibly go ahead with buying something. Lets say he does do this and within 2 weeks another 10 people have given him the £130 for a frame, and then he just dissapears, with £1300. Or he could even delay it by telling people he will post like next week and then it turns out to be 2 weeks, but within that time a few more people have placed orders, so he could end up with £2000 theoretically. I would love to have bargain prices for all the deng stuff but am very paranoid about getting conned......

Your f/w gaps a bigger than mine but anyway.. When I watch riders doing big front wheel gaps they seem to go up higher than they need to and then push the bike down onto the pallet/wall. So it's like what ali c said about rather than goin flat it should be an arc.

Fitted my 160 BB7 to my mod yesterday and so far its been great. I am using an XTR leaver and its lovely. Break wise, I have loads of modulation and a reasonable amount of lock, I think this will change as it wears in a bit though.

He doesn't accept payment through paypal, apparently "Chinese users cannot get the money out of paypal and into another account, that is a load of sh*t." He wants payment through western union. It says on the western union website something like..... "western union does not take any responsibility for money lost due to scams," so therefore there is no way to get your money back. Paypal offer insurance up to something like 45 days, thats probably why he doesn't want to use it! If some rich kid wants to go a buy a frame from him, just to test if he's genuine or not, that would be great In the meantime, I cant really see anyone wanting to be the first to buy from him, so I am going to stay well away. Stick to tarty and select bikes!
