  9. How can it be the site of "many motorcycle world trials championship rounds". When the only place used for motorcycle trials in the UK has been Hawkstone park? in recent years yes, but it used to be held all over the country, from memory the steve saunders, thierry michaud era was at merthyr, the site has a lot to offer , wales is full of good riding sites so there is plenty more to choose from for a welsh series etc so if the weather is good , you should still be able to get an entry
  10. For directions it is on the A465 Abergaveny to Merthyr road follow directions to brecon mountain railway , the post code of the venue is CF48 2UP for all those with sat navs .it is opposite brecon mountain railway and close to morlais golf club.
  11. no problems iolo, we realise some people are having challenges with the forms being delayed, an advance entry helps everyone however i am sure you will be alright for an entry
  12. the site of many motorcycle world trials championship rounds , no shortage of sections,
  13. some concerns over ,who has their forms , just a note to say there still is time ,for this new venue with a magical history and an exciting new team,
  14. just to say ,if anyone hasnt had their form through, its on the downloads page of www.ukbiketrial.co.uk at the bottom of the firist section, failing that or if your printer no longer works , the secetary is malcolm bates,Nantyrwyn, Llanbister road ,Llandrindod Wells, Powys, LD1 5UP Telephone: 01547 550393

  17. so many threads so little time, i think dave will still be alright for an entry its the firist round there has been some confusion, i think he would like a call if you want to ride, ACU and BIU can be sorted on the day .Hope this helps
  18. All relevant forms should be available on the website www.ukbiketrial.co.uk , either in downloads or links The most important thing is to enter the trial ,some you have to pre enter some you can enter on the day, if you are just starting find the club nearest to you and speak to the secetary to find an event that will be suitable for you ,all competitors in the Genuine British Championship will qualify for a free BIU license ,forms are downloadable from the website, if you do not have yours in advance of the day forms can, if necessary be filled in then. As far as club membership is concerned , There are ACU affiliated clubs all over the country, we recommend you join and support your local club each club may make a charge for membership, some to cover the cost of admin or a newsletter some may not charge at all. To obtain your ACU license you have to fill out an application form ,which will be countersigned by the club which you are a member of,the club will have the forms or ring the ACU on 01788 566400 in advance of the event you would fill out the form and if it is your firist application attach a photo and send with a ten pound fee to the ACU , alternatively you could fill the form out at a trial ,preferably bringing a photo if necesary with you ( if you forget this can be sorted out later) best good luck anthony
