forgot to mention, it has to be 24 or 26" -
Hopefully that caught your attention. I've got about £700ish to spend on a new bike from my insurance after my last bike got nicked. What should I get? I'm quite a 'hoppy, street style' rider. I no this gets asked all the time but I'm at work and don't really have the time to go searching through all the posts. Cheers in advance Matt

cheers for all your suggestions!! Just to let you no, I'm not a beginner, just starting again after a 5 or so years break. I spoke with those bike people and they can get me a Onza Zoot. What you reckon??

I bet if one of the ones that they ride about London on got nicked they'd have a nationwide man-hunt

Sorry to piss on your bonfire but InfaRed only works within a line of sight. In other words, if your bars were turned and you wanted to brake, you wouldn't be able to. And also the rear brake wouldn't work. The only wireless solution would be RF (radio frequency). But then as you said, you'd have the problem of fluid.

I had my bike stolen a couple of weeks back now, a DMR Sidekick and everything was just right, just how i liked it. A perfect bike for me to get back into trials on. The Police said they'd have someone look into it and sure enough, PC Plod turns up at my house and takes a statement. A few days pass and nothing, then a call from Scenes of Crime people saying they want to come and look for evidence as it was stolen from inside the house and its classed as a burglary now. Funnily enough, something came up, meaning that they couldn't come. f**kERS. After 2 weeks without my bike and a burning desire to go for a ride, I get a call from the insurance saying that the bike is covered but only up to £500. I no I should be grateful but I have to get it from a particular shop. Great. Have a look for yourself, what the f**k can I get from here???? www.wheelies.co.uk

I'm getting back into trials after a long break and now everyone is talking about Mod & Stock. What the f**k? Can someone please tell me in plain english what the differences are.

Allo, when I get a new bike sorted I'll be up for it! The goods inward thing underneath the Oracle is good from memory! Quite easy to get in aswell.

Afternoon all, How do I hop from the back wheel straight to the front? It seems almost impossible!
-
Right, I need a new bike as at the moment I'm bikeless after some thieving b*****d thought it'd be funny to borrow it... permanantly. But what the f**k do I get? I've only started getting back into riding after a 4 or so year break, and having my pride and joy stolen isn't the flashy entrance back into it I'd imagined! I'm from the old skool and remember the days of 'The Martins' and Hans Rey, that sort of thing. The bike that was nicked was a DMR Sidekick (yeah, you might laugh!), and now I'm buggered as I'll have to get used to something without a seat!! Wierd!! I'd been looking at the Brisa's as they were just making a big name for themselves when I stopped riding before, and now my mate has just bought himself a Zoo! Pitbull and I like that too! Now I know its all personal preference but it'd be nice to hear some feedback on whats popular these days, what is easy to do stuff on and what most people have got. Also are there any trials specific mags? MBUK used to be ok for trials but its in stupid f**king plastic wrapping in WHSmiths so I cant tell whats inside! Cheers! Matt

We've had loads round our way for ages now. The police have stopped patrolling around the field they're in as the last coppers who went had thier squad car shot at then set alight!! No shit! They're little bastards, why can't they just be normal. 'ey mista, whereda see on you boike?' All the chavs / scally's / neds are just as bad, it really pisses me off when they constantly spit on the floor then you ride through it. f**kERS!

Look, no-one wants to scroll down the page to see some twat writing 'Toss , Wank , Shit' there's no point to it, so why bother? Why not go and waste your time at www.imastupidcuntthatneedstobeshot.com I'm sure they'll still think you're a willy. As for the video... once its working i'd love to see it.

My worst crash / bail was years ago when I was jumping a mates Jackflash and attempted a big double. I say attempted because after take-off I found myself flying through the air, knowhere near the bike, then landing in a heap on the floor. Lets say it hurt. The worst one I've witnessed, on the other hand, was not long after my friends and I had started trials. We used to be able to get into the 'secure' car park of a local office building. This car park had steps, small medium and large walls, big bin things, infact, pretty much everything you want to get started. I was riding a Kona Hahanna at the time and my mate Mark had recently bought a Monty X-Hydra second hand for about £200. Mark went to hop up a wall about 3ft tall that he had managed to do a couple of times previously with no problems. This time, he didnt lift up high enough and hit the front flat of the wall with his front wheel. The wheel rolled down the wall, then, ... THUD, his mouth hits the corner, blood and teeth everywhere. Not a pretty sight! He had to get his 2 front teeth capped and now has a scar on his top lip (from about 6 years ago). Couldn't eat solids for a month or so!!
