  1. *envy* 300s are pretty good fun, but i still prefer moths I sooooo want a go in an 18, look like such a laugh!
  2. I'm hugely bored due to having a broken ankle in the half term holidays so please excuse the ammount of shite im probably posting on here!... ...but i was just curious as to what kindof crap other people collected? I've just started collecting coke cans from round the world, my girlfriend is going all round eastern europe at the moment and she's getting me one from every country she visits and my other friends in switzerland so shes going to bring me back one from there too. heres a picture of my extremely sad collection (with labels ) It's only small at the moment but its going to grow! (if anyones abroad and fancies picking up a coke can for me you will earn brownie points....and points mean prizes!)
  3. start a petition...show hope how big the potential market is for a decent mod freehub with a disc mount! ..and If someone supplies me with a pro2 i'll modify it for them to fit a mod! well said
  4. i sooooooo want a 12ft skiff....i'm doing marine technology at uni next year (hopefully) and one of the guys who graduated last year modified a national 12 into some kindof weird 12ft skiff with a national 12 shaped waterline, aparentyl it was quite quick! I don't get on with cats, i really hate sailing the tunnel hull boats like vortex's too, theyre so crap at tacking/in light winds! Oh yeah, had a go in an international moth in the summer too that was fun!
  5. yes there is... helming a fireball with your crew hanging pretty much off the transom, on their trapeze, downwind with the spinnaker up in a force 7...however, this leads to certsin mast snappage What boats has everyone sailed and stuff then? I've had: -Mirrors (written 3 off from sailing in stupid wind!)(did zone squad sailing and youth nationals etc) -A laser radial -A big rig for my laser -A fireball -National 12s :$ wow!
  6. You sail cherubs? let's make babies
  7. with a lockring and stuff its fine. But for obvious reasons a screw on sprocket on a fixed isn't going to work! Nice bike by the way
  8. Most of us have other interests, besides trials, and I was just wondering how many other watersports enthusiasts were on here? My main thing is sailing but I also kayak, windsurf, canoe and do a bit of powerboating. Post up some pics of you doing whatever watersport it is you do!...I'll start with a photo of me trying to teach a novice to sail in my National12 in a force5* *A national12 is ridiculously unstable and force5 is pretty windy to take an inexperienced sailor out, for those that don't know!
  9. screw in cog on fixed wheel bike = almost certain death

    Lent?

i gave up riding and walking, but not out of choice
  11. a thin epoxy filler or epoxy varnish would be perfect, you can buy it from yacht chandlers or the internet...if not a tiny bit of araldite would do the same job
  12. yeah, the actual modification of the hub is complete, just waiting for a set of pawls to arrive then i'll get it tested and let you know the verdict.
  13. it's not quite fluro, but i sprayed my 221ti lime green and it looked pretty good in my opinion...
  14. How deep is the scratch? dont let any water get into the carbon, i use lots of carbon bits on my boat and as soon as you get a scratch you need to fill it otherwise the water gets in and makes it go soggy from the inside out.
  15. If you ask edd potts very nicely he might make you one?
  16. the 06 models had some problems with cracking, i use the 07 version which is awesome. definitely improve a lot since the 06 one, lubed up with oil instead of grease too
  17. ok then, I'll be ordering one this week! ok then, I'll be ordering one this week!
  18. Don't say that cheers, may be investing in one of them
