  2. I dent think it would be hot enough so i thought i would ask to be sure, a good idea though. Will it make the little lumps on the plastic go smooth then? Liam
  3. Sounds a very good idea, some people may save a wad of cash with that idea. So you can just use your mums hair dryer? Or does it have to be one of them heat guns? Liam
  4. Added you about the RB lever Cheers

  5. They are not bled with water because it will fully destroy the internals of a hope and we don't want that! Liam
  6. no parts will be added soon when i get some money, the forks bars and stem was bought for £3, i will give it a month and see how it goes, I'm 6ft so i assumed that the long frame would of suited me better than a short one, i maybe wrong we will have to wait and see thanks for the help guys! Liam
  7. Thanks my mission was really short and hurt my back because im 6ft and still growing (i think) if the weather sorts itself out i will go for a good long ride!
  8. Hello, two weeks ago a bought a 2006 cls Zoo python for £90. The frame is in good condition and i was very pleased so i built it up straight away and went for a ride, at first it didn't feel that good to ride which made me think am i just queer or is it because I'm used to a mission prodigy and dent have chance to get a proper ride. The bike set up is Onza t-bird forks, bars and stem (bought for £3 because the mission ones don't fit). Over the weekend i did not have that much time to ride it due to the weather but the chance i did get to ride it i started to ride bigger things that i thought it would be ages before i would be able to do i started to get confidence, i also noticed that that the frame flexes rather a lot with out a booster. Did anyone else feel like they dent get on with their new frame? Although it has given me more confidence i am still not 100% sure on the frame. Do you think i need to stop being a girl and try and ride it properly or find a frame that will suit me? Any help will be much appreciated! Liam
  9. Well done, i enjoyed that some good riding there! I also noticed at the end to of the same colour cars in the car park did you do that or was it just a coincidence? Liam
  10. Are your cranks bent? That maybe why only one side is rubbing on your frame. Liam
  11. Whoops sorry dent see that i was just thinking of all the expensive desent parts and just writting them down. My bad. Liam
  12. They are a trials specific brake so i see no problem with running one the rear - please correct me if i am wrong but i have read on here that the avid bb7s on the rear explode! So if it is true i would stay away from one of them. i think a mono should be fine, you may want to take a look at them hope/try-all disc's they seem rather nice but may be a bit expensive Liam
  13. My dream bike would be: Zoo! python 07, Zoo! forks, try-all hope front disk, hs33 rear brake, try-all stem, Zoo! bars, Echo headset and bb, profile hub on try-all front and chris king on try-all rear, eno ffw, echo cranks n i think thats it not sure if i think of anything else i will add lol Liam
  14. Was that directed at me? and you cannot buy rear king hus for £260, the cheapest is £289
  15. Well it depends on what your budget is, and what bike you ride? Mod or stock. You can buy a Chris king hubs for £369 for the bmx style one for a mod or the profile hubs for £160 or £170, then there is all the Deng hubs: fixed and free hubs, if you are riding stock there are the hope hubs such as the pro 2 or the xc hub plus the Deng hubs, it does come down to budget and what bike you ride if money is no object for you (wish it was for me ) i would buy the Chris king they don't skip a beat and they look good! Liam
  16. I bought t-bird cranks because i was in desprate need for some cranks and they are still going fine - No stripped threads, not rounded off they are like most things you have to look after them make sure the crank bolts are tight same goes for the pedals make sure they are tight and nipped up then they sould be fine. Liam
  17. wasent you quiting?? im not sure about the stem and bars sorry.
  18. i havent got piczo so it wont let me go on it, i am intrested to see what you have made, what did you use? Liam
  19. My mate is using tennis racket tape, bit thin but they absorb the sweat off your hands and dont get slippy
  20. Thanks guys, anyone else got any advice that i might need? or someone that has snapped one? Liam
  21. Well thats good news i just need to get it orderd now! did you get yours from supercycles or secondhand?
  22. Hello, I'm buying a new Zona Zip frame from super cycles. I am 6ft tall and i was thinking will the frame be long enough? because i was after a long frame but i don't have sufficient funds for a Python . Also are the frame good and strong? Can they take a bit of a beating, i will be having the frame for a while. Is their anyone who has snapped a Zip? If so where abouts and is it a weak-spot? Also the tensile offset mounts are they worth £20? Do they make life easier setting up a rear magura with a massive try-all rim? Only two questions but advice would be much appreciated Liam
  23. sounds nasty, have you got any pictures? Were abouts did it crack? Liam
  24. i used to have some deore cranks they had hollow tech written on them and i wondered what it was. i never used them for trials so i don't know how they would of coped. Liam
