  2. i bled mine with WD 40, it felt mint at the lever after i had finished! dent ride my bike for a couple of days due to the weather, went to go out on my bike pulled the brake it was like squeezing sponge bob square pants! other people say its good but it dent work for me, i just use water and they are fine. Liam
  3. Are you looking for a pair of rims? Or just the front? You can get try-all rims with coloured sidewalls, if you are running a disc on the front it will be OK, if you a coloured rear rim and you are running a magura or vee the colour will rub off like mine did Hope i helped Liam
  4. I need to change my ratio i am currently running 24T on the front and I think it maybe 18T freewheeel. It is a bit of a light gear i want a bit heavey one, will 24T and 16T rear freewheel be too heavey or not? Will someone be able to help me? cheers liam
  5. Hmm only available in 36h? that is not good as my try-all rim is 32, can u build a 36h hub to a 32h rim? Or will it just collapse? it doesn't sound very wise Liam
  6. Well to be honest i have never heard of "deng" being new back into the sport i haven't seen it expand like the people who stayed with it. Also the only colour on order are: Black, Pink and lime lol Liam
  7. Well i would be i think its a bit too much hassle for what its worth. i would have buy FFW cranks, Eno, then buy a fixed rear hub i was buying the profile because i will have the money and i need a new rear hub as my mission hub wont fit in my zona dropouts i was just buying a profile as i need a rear free hub and their gorgeous Liam
  8. Well in the next few weeks i will be purchasing a Rear profile hub in red from tarty. Is there any problems from out of the box? E.g needs better lube in because the stuff profile use is a bit rubbish? Do they need to be stripped and cleaned after a couple of rides? Do they skip like a ponce in a flower Field if you don't tighten up the springs inside or something? i have no-idea about the hub so these maybe stupid questions to you Any advice will be welcomed Liam
  9. i have a few niggles with the hs33s, it seem every time i turn the TPA adjuster it snaps . Soi might just buy the new style ones from tarty £80 for the pair or one echo lever hmm which is more value for money??? Liam
  10. I really like that video, enjoyed it i haven't seen a good video for a while now, So how long have you been riding? let us know when video 3 will be coming out then, can see you improve even more Good luck and good effort! Liam
  11. Whats your msn if you are stillafter a 26" frame with a seat?

  12. im ording a rear profile, because they are sexual and the best in my eyes much better value for money than a king, as its been said above t-master rear hub and a front hope xc for your budget or can you wait a while and save up a bit more and go for a better rear hub? Liam
  13. i was struggling to get up stuff on my flat bars, so i found some riser bars, i found i loads easier to get up stuff and it was a lot more comfatble to ride with. The try-all flat bars flexed like a mo-fo which i did not like the look of aswel i could just see myself gapping and them snapping and me in A&E lol So in conclusion i think that riser bars are better, although some people find flat better its just the way they ride i would go for which fells easier for you. Liam
  14. I think it may not fit, the best thing to do is get the offset tensile mounts from tarty work a dream with wide rims and narrow rims Liam
  15. Where i live there is only me, which does get annoying there did used to be 5 or 6 of us, but everyone quit apart from me.
  16. thanks for all the replies guys big help i dent think about my axle being to big for the dropouts on the zona big thumps up to you who told me (Y) Liam
  17. so i will be needing a new rear hub aswel, that is disapointing that will mean when i get this stuff i will ahve to wait longer to ride Liam
  18. Im running hs33s, i bought the bike off a friend to get back into trials it was for £50 aswel i had an old pair of hs33s laying about so a gave them a bleed n took the vee's straight off lol Also the stem does not have a big riser on them so a put some Dmr wingbars on it and its loads better than the trial-all ones that i originally put on it. Liam
  19. Yes i do have wheels, i will be buying a try-all rim off my friend this friday and getting it built onto my exsisting hub i already have bars, cranks, brakes i have a mission prodigy at the minute and it has an oversized stem and forks and headset Cheers liam
  20. I have just priced up the new bits i wanting to buy the list is : Zona zip frame, zona zedd forks, el cheapo headset, echo/vp bb, try-all 31.8 clamp stem just a few questions about the items. What is the frame like to ride? Is it strong? is the stem called el cheapo because after 5 minutes it falls apart? Are the forks good and strong? i priced it all up at £272 is this a good deal? the frame is from supercycles and the rest is from tarty. thanks in advance Liam
  21. i bled mine with wd40 the other day aswel, i sprayed it into a little pot and sucked it into the shringe but i took my bike out today ofter not using it for a couple of days and it took a few pups to get going but aftrubbish there was er that it was hardly any bite and hardly any hold so i was not a happy bunny lol so i think a re-bleed is in order tomorrow i may use water i havent decied yet lol i will sleep on it lol bit of a warning if you are going to use wd40, mine felt mint after i bled it so i don't know lol Liam
  22. i bought a pair of try-all rims for my stock in gold, on the rear rim the gold where the break pads was rubbed off n i nearly cryed because i soent laods on them lol the rims themselves was very good, the diffrences was immediate the bike felt extremly lighter. When doing gaps and drop offs they still felt strong and sturdy while being light weight Liam
  23. The astra van is mint! my dad has got one its on a 55 plate and its done about 100,000+ miles and its never gone wrong once, i can stand my mod bike up in the bike with no problems. Your age would depend on the insurance also what engine size and what style it is E.g Sportif which comes with alloys, cd player, better seats and other interior bits n bobs hope i helped Liam
  24. Well i think that the wider the rim is the wider the tyre can be so that must mean more grip. If you think about it imagine a thin rim with a tyre its going to be quite thin but with a wider rim the tyre can be spread out more so there will be more surface area therefore more grip, well thats my view on it anyway hope this helped Liam
  25. i ride a mission and i think its a good bike they ride fine lol
