  1. Nice pics sam, How you finding the adamant. Thinking of getting one in future. It the long or short version? Cheers Steve
  2. Hey, I have had my echo 6061 forged cranks (160 ISIS), for a month and they are great, no problems what so ever. Im running the gigapipe 127.5 mm BB aswell, had no problems with that. I had to get the longer length because I got a FFW. (Do they do two lengths or not?) Im not sure on the bash, I'd ring tarty and see if it will fit. Ive got the echo silver 18t bash and its fine, like any other GU, adamant bash, works with those cranks well. Steve
  3. For a 13 yr old to be doing that, kinda puts me to shame :$ Very good riding, blown away, seeing someone so young, so good. Just think what he will be like when 18. One to watch. Keep it up fella! Steve
  4. Really good video there TRA, You make that coust look as light as a feather. Some of them lines were huge. Top marks Steve
  5. Hey danny, Get the new ribos when they come out, mine are falling to bits and all. The new ones also look to have a better design around the ankle, the boot stops just past your ankle rather than a peice of fabric sewn onto the inside of the boot. So for sidehops they'll be ideal. The fabric area around my left ankle has worn down and now hurts my leg/foot when sidehopping. Other than that there's some decent skate shoes kicking around, look at the etnies range. Very comfy and well styled. Steve
  6. Links page up and running. Have a look www.criminaltrials.co.uk then links page! Steve
  7. Looks ok I guess, just like the echo bike/Gu bike sites. I prefer the old zoo site, the one that features cls. Nice bikes though. Shame they only doing black/green colour scheme on there parts. Steve
  8. Good work danny. As i said before the design is mint, top marks on that. This will look awesome once its all fully done and people can veiw all the site and the video section ( mine especially) . Steve
  9. Good stuff Joe, Really like the first vid - warm up/practice vid. Really well edited and top riding from all featured riders. What happened to frame joe (appart from it being snapped) also what bike you on now. Steve. Off topic - When you next off up to Glen, ill have a ride with you some time. PM and let me know. Thanks again.
  10. Quality pictures mike, what frame is wayne (wanyio) riding, looks lush. Looked like you all had a good time. The one of joe b and stan is hillarious! Steve
  11. Hey danny, Vid was mint, you're getting very good now, music was good, it worked well with the editing. Keep it up fella, can't wait for new vid. I can see its going to be a beast. - What happened to the adamant, you still riding 26" or you sticking to mod. Steve
  12. The t- rex is an ideal learner friendly bike. They're very strong, so they can withstand some hammer, and they look very unique now a days( seen as most people have zoo! echo, GU bikes) but when it comes to bigger stuff. ie learning sidehops, the weight can be a down side to the overall performance of the frame. I had the woodstock spec of this bike and they feel very stable when gapping ect, but for sidehops and any form of natural, i found harder on this than on any other bike that I have ridden. I have now currently got a GU mod and I feel a lot better on this now. Steve
  13. Get the 07 hope pro II trials hub, alot better than a king and a profile, and the hopes are fairly well priced. Steve
  14. Plazmatic CRM with harsh grind for a very good brake but it will wear down very quickly, or a smooth grind with these pads works wonders. Rock pads blue ( or the red version) are very good, good bite olny rode them a couple of times, so when the weather gets a bit bad and they bed in a bit more im sure they will be fine. Any of those will be worth there money! Steve
  15. Kyles a beast thats all I can say, Static to back wheel - very nice. Them sidehops are getting very big, and nice tuckage at the end. Spot on! Steve
  16. Hey, Yes those cranks are very good, ive got them on my GU mod and they feel really nice - the 160's actually measure 163 roughly so they are an in between size which is great for short mods. (170's are too long I reckon). The BB im not sure about, length wise and the BB shell of a zona but if you are running FFW and possably a bash ring you might need a 127.5 mm BB axle. Thus giving extra clearance away from frame and a better chain line. No chain rubbing on chain stay ect. I put a Truvativ ISIS 127.5 mm BB, those echo 6061 forged cranks, Try-all FFW and echo bash and the chain line is perfect and it runs really smooth. Steve
  17. I would have to say Ribo's, they are very comfy and they feel really grippy on the pedals. If you prefer competition riding i would reccomend a pair - most comps now a days check or state that you must have addequite footwear that complys to BIU standard (ankle protection ect) I've found i can feel the pedal more and that in turn helps to feel where the back wheel is. I did wear skate style shoes for abit before i bought me Ribo's but they were really loose and i did turn/twist my ankles alot when sidehopping. Steve
  18. Ok then budd, Cheers for that, i just thought but if they are two different types of seals i might have to buy some magura royal blood. Can you buy the bottles/containers at local bike shops or is it order off evans ect. Steve
  19. What ever mate, Youre brake - hope use DOT fluid in thier brakes(MBUK grime time with hope factory - how to shorten youre hose and re -bleed) and hope are a good brake company, so using them in Magura's wouldn't make no difference. Steve
  20. Hey, Don't use water what ever you do, i've heard they damage the seals and other parts of the brake, this = warranty void. Use magura royal blood or any DOT 4, DOT 5.1/5.2. Steve
  21. Hey budd, Like others have said before, if you prefer natural (rock) type riding and you're not confident enough at getting up big rocks or going to two wheels on any move i would get a bash plate. I have put one on my GU mod - just incase i do have to stall on a rock, im not wrecking my front freewheel ect. When i get use to my mod i will get a new frame that is bash plate less. For street riding you generally dont need one, but it is up to you and what style you prefer. I would allways have one just incase, but if you're a good rider I suppose it doesn't matter as much. Hope this has helped, Steve
