  1. And if anyone has guessed who I am please don't say anything negative or mention my name :/

It would seem you are afraid of sadness. It's easier to accept it than to fight it. Spend time with your family too. If you go somewhere and they ask you about it then tell a story to them. But telling your parents isn't too good as they would worry about you. Maybe a nonjudgemental friend would be better

  2. A man called into a radio station and voiced his opinion this morning, saying he's gonna buy some drinks to celebrate because he's happy of her death. I can't really believe the radio station aired that as it seems a bit extreme.

  3. what you mean? Like last time? Hahahahaha or the viet cong in vietnam?

It wouldn't be comparable as we know who the enemy would be. The enemy of USA during the Vietcong could have been anyone, 15 year old girls for example.

  4. Telly -You mean controlled media. You only see what they want you to see ;) Usually always negative to keep people in a lower state of consciousness

Though I've not seen a lot of N.Korean telly, the telly here in UK is quite deregatory; there's a series on about parents putting their children to bed? We have a lot more to watch, but that's a lot more mindless sh*t to watch too.

I read about some basketball player called Rodman who visited Kim Jong Un in N Korea and he said they got on quite well. This is starting to seem common with dictators ruling by fear and brainwashing. That is they are very manipulative, paranoid and easy to get on with. I'm sure there are others but I know Pol Pot of Cambodia was described as paranoia nearly to the point of insanity.

  5. I don't think it will happen. The more I find out about North Korea the more I can relate it to Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. It is driven by fear and it starts right at the very top. Everyone must show their dedication to the state/revolution and anyone who opposes it will be 'an enemy of the state.' The propaganda meetings in Cambodia had 4 or 5 higher ups giving 2 or 3 hour lectures and they each tried to out do each other with phrases like 'death to imperialistic pigs' to show their love to the revolution. I suppose any fear that strikes us after knowing the intentions of North Korea is only a fraction of what the neglected public of North Korea feel. It's slightly more scary the intent of Iran (a richer country and more open). The nutcase prime minister Ahmedinijad publicly expressed his views about nuking Israel. I can't imagine what would happen if North korea or Iran were to launch a nuke.

  6. The article only seems to give a shit about America. Is North Korea also threatening to attack Japan?

America's centre of the world don't you know. Nothing exists outside America except oil fields, Iraq, Iran and North Korea.

  7. I'm not interested in you being an extension of my thinking, rather, I'm interested in you learning to think for yourself with the belief that some conclusions are more reasonable and should be followed because of the weight of evidence - such as the threat of global warming. Passively adopting what other people tell you is the underlying problem of society so I'm hardly going to promote that.
So what research have you done into global warming? I suppose you could only have quite a strong opinion on global warming if you have involved yourself in a fair amount of research. Climate change may not be due to human activity. It could be coincidence that greenhouse gas output happened at the time as some unknown or poorly understood phenomenon; though it would seem highly unlikely. I believe the stuff we're doing to help global warming at the moment is in vain. Our attempt to consider to environment is so insignificant as a planet and it will remain like that until, though it sounds very cornie, there are huge or widespread natural disasters.
  8. That's what I've always said. Turns out I was wrong and the dinosaurs were driving around in massive V8's and leaving their LCD's on while they went out!

And they didnt have the intellect to research global warming and worry about it. Now they're extinct, coincidence?

  9. Im looking to get a big bike (but do my test first). My mate said do the CBT and get a bike with gears to practice. I can then do a few lessons on a 650 and go for my test. Seems a good idea? Anyway my CBT is booked and I'm looking at bikes. Any recommendations? It would be a 125cc and preferably a 2 stroke though 4 stroke wouldn't be prob either.

  10. So the title says 'Why do people become overweight?' and unless the article is largely blaming over eating, unhealthy diets and lack of exercise then I'd disagree with it. Genes may be a factor, but it'd say it's mainly down to lifestyle.

I'm one of the lucky ones. It seems impossible for me to exceed 11st. I've been 11st on the dot for 10 years now, even after binge-ing on chocolate and crap for a days. I've not exercised in 1 month too. So come to think of it, genes may play a part in it.

Also, a scientist took volunteers from a prison and overfed them. They all reached a maximum weight and couldn't gain any more.

  11. If you can think of a better future and work towards it by changing then yes, you could live how you want. Not everyone is priviledged enough to do this though. On the other hand you could just dream of a better future and winge on forums about how bad you may have it now.

  12. It may just be triggered by smelling or seeing something that may have had an impact on you many years ago. I don't believe someone reliving this experience cannot fully tell if it's a memory or 'real time,' thats like schizophrenia.

  13. I get emails on my phone from my Gmail account, is there any way to make a folder so incoming mail that I choose to put in there is not sent to my Blackberry? I've tried to make a filter on my Blackberry but the options are quite basic. It's a Bold 9700 with an ancient OS, like OS 5 or something like that.
