  1. I don't see why people rip koxx. they arnt designed to be bashed. They are comp frames after all! And hey.. My koxx coust frame is coming on 9 months old yet its still going strong with no cracks or even signs of giving up! And Im not exactly smooth! It looks absolutely thrashed as well! Levelboss frames were very light aswell probably why they snapped.
  2. Im pretty sure those are not the rocks we found luke Although if there wasnt so much sea weed at the rocks we found im sure it would be amazing!
  3. Thanks alot to everyone who appeared! I myself enjoyed the day and once the sun came out later on it was great! I fairly pushed myself today i feel! Best i have ridden in a long time! Hope everyone else enjoyed it! Need more rides like that!
  4. Thats lighter than my koxx! Bet It rides lovely! Cant wait for a go
  5. Met office says differently http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/gr/...st_weather.html Yes there is going to be rain but its only rain Man up
  6. Loved it! Great work! Was really enjoyable to watch I wanna ride nowwww!!
  7. when you are pumping it up make sure it is securely on. Do it in stages. What rim have you got? I believe the echo 07 rims used to do that with creepy crawlers when the rims were getting old.
  8. That looks amazing! I want a shot See you sunday yeah?
  9. This sounds good! Id love to come help out, ride there I'd love to see some pictures of the area. A trials academy would be such a good Idea aswell! I hear there is the Koxx academy in france but never heard of one in the UK at all! Sounds really good! Hope it all goes to plan!
  10. Get it! Also while you do that buy front and back BB7's You will probably be able to Ebay the original brakes and get a bit of cash back! They ride amazing as double disc bikes!
  11. I have had no problems with try tryall bottom brackets I have had! and the bearings are replacable if they were to go.
  12. Inside the echo freehub Is pretty much the same as the profile as there are the same amount of engagements and the internals look very similar. The reason why they were breaking was that the Ratchet was glued in making it break easier under higher loads. As people love Pro2 hubs I thought about the idea if having the profile internals to make them compatible with mod bikes. As It is harder to get profile hubs in 32H (standard in trials nowadays) and also harder to get one that will take a disc too it will probably be easier, if you have an old profile, or the shell in your profile has cracked or whatever just to get a Pro2 hub shell off tarty and put in the Profile internals.
  13. Better Idea than what I would have come up with :$ Would someone be able to Pm me their mobile number or something so I can call when we arrive in aberdeen? Means It will be easier to find you lot
  14. I wont be able to make it for 10am As I originally planned for this to be on a saturday I thought there would be a 7.10am train however the earliest one in the sunday is 9.55am My train will arrive at 12.10 so make it half 12 at St Nicks or the carpark between St Nicks and the train station?
  15. You can run single speed on it yes but If I were you, Save up for a new frame as soon as you get it Wont take long till it snaps. Mine snapped within a month on the drive side chainstay where it meets the bb!
  16. I have seen this done. And I must say it did work, and it worked well acted almost like grind!
  17. Yeah thats sounds like a plan. If we get moved on then we will just use the excuse that we are waiting for some mates.
  18. IMO it doesnt take long to modify the frame to how you like it. Nothing an angle grinder and a file couldnt fix However im sure many people wouldnt want to do that.
  19. They are alot beefier and the Bolt that holds the tension is bigger too! Trust me I have had a few pairs of these, lasting me ages and keeping my wheel strongly in place! The onza ones you have at the moment fall to pieces and snap like crazy.
  20. Your problem is your tensioners. Get some of these Gusset tensioners and your problem will be solved These are great tensioners! They are very strong and nearly indestructible!
  21. The new GU LE has a disc mount! Would love to see one with 24" wheels on!
  22. Have you got tentioners at all? Sounds like you don't.
