check this bad ass frame out, it was my mate phil's (R.I.P) he sadly died in 2003 in a car accident but we used to ride together from 1998-2000, i had a pashley (one of the very first batch) and he had this, after he died his dad gave me his old frame ...he had moved onto bmxing in 2001 and the sunn bike had been stripped and was kicking around the garage in bits, when his dad gave it to me it was covered in surface rust so i spent a week (on and off) with a bottle of polish a rag and a needle scraping it all off trying not to scratch the chrome! i will be looking for some seriously old skool parts to re-build it over the next year, any suggestions on parts??

much respect to you, thats brilliant! fair play
-
i had an inspired before i stopped riding and it was quite possible the easiest frame to ride for street! i think the geo is 1040, 385 chainstays and +20mm bb but it works out to feel similar to +10 mm bb as the wheels are smaller, spinning and bunny hops were really easy, i found i could bunny hop about a foot higher than i could on my pashley, and i ran a 90 mm stem with 17 degree rise and 2.5 inch rise azonic bars, with about 50 mm of stem stackers, really nice set up i think theres still pics on my profile actually

that looks the nuts mate, im glad i sold it to a good home! black pashley forks would finish it off quite nicely if you could get some with a disc mount
-
that bike looks the dogs bollocks matey!! i miss mine
-
the white one looks sick!!! that is a mean spec! good work there
-
now for sale in the classifieds!
-
something like a 22tooth front with an 18 or 19 on the back is generally quite good...
-
thanks for the comments guys, it rides so nice, i can bunny hop stupidly high now, my riding has improved so much in the last 2 weeks ....i know now this is in the wrong catagory but i didnt mean to post it in here, was a bit of an accident!
if anyone is planning on getting one of these go for azonic revenge bars in 2.5 inch with a kore lite 3 stem (17 degree rise, 90mm long) both from crc the front end comes up so easy it is unreal!!! i love it!
the reason why the rear tyre looks bigger is because it is! its a moto digger and the front is a moto rt......get one, you wont regret it!

Deng is the maker off
Zoo!
Echo
Adamant
GU
Czar
ahh, thanks, its been quite confusing! as people have said ''i want a deng crank'' (echo/zoo!/GU) and i was under the impression it may be a stlye of component, eg: something with a front freewheel was a 'deng' component! lol
Deng is a bloke that owns and runs Echo, GU, Adamant, Czar and Zoo.All his parts are extensively CNC machined, and come in every anodised colour imaginable.
Saying, that's a fairly Dengish bike! means, your bike is a colourful one, and has been extensively machined.
cool cool, i get it now, cheers guys

.....i have just got back into trials over this last year after a 6 year break, and im just getting together with all the latest chit chat , and i see the word DENG being used, to begin with i thought it may be a make? as people on this forum were using it in sentences like ''ive got a deng hub'' etc etc, but now i have heard it in loads of different topics and i dont now what it means!!!??? all comments welcome :$

cool, well i have just ordered a hope mono trial disc, and as i do a lot of streety stuff (i ride with bmxers) i have gone for the dmr tyres, moto digger on the back, moto rt up front, i have been running moto rt's on my 26''er for street and it has been sweet, they roll really well ...i thought the digger on the rear will give it a beasty look! just got to wait untill my birthday now on the 7th to get the rest of my tarty vouchers (i have asked everyone) hahaha then i will order a black inspired fourplay......sweet as

For the disc I'd recommend an Avid BB7 or a Hope Mono Trial. Both awesome brakes when properly setup!
is the bb7 a cable disc?
-
hey guys, as the title says really, quite like the look of dmr moto diggas....or maxxis 2.7's, what do you reckon? also what disc brake?? for the front that is....

If the stem is 15mm over the end of the steere tube, is that way to short? Dont want to take a chance with this!
depends what stem you have got, and what the stack height is (the measurement between the top of the headset race to the top of the stem - where the top cap sits), if the stem has a stack height of 45mm or more and has 2 pinch bolts then this should be ok, i would run a headlock to keep it all nice and tight, if the stem starts moving when your riding then its going to be a pain.....so time for new forks...or a new stem/headset with low stack height. hope tis helps

Ryhno Lites seem to be a good choice, alot of people seem to be running them, and oh, wait i have a pair in very good condition for sale, £30 the pair
Adam

as the title says.....i quite like the look of dmr dv rims, are they any good???

Hi guys,
i've got a revell and was wandering what it would ride like if i welded some new brake mounts on it so it would take a 24" wheel? Would it ride like a shed?
How different is the geometry between 24" frames and 26" ones?
If anyone has any idea or has done it, let me know!
oliver
you would probably find the bottom bracket quite low....and it might look a bit wierd
-
you can buy new braze on magura tabs, get the old ones grinded and as said get the new ones put on in the right place.
ahhhhh! so thats what those other bits are for, im a bit out of touch with all the recent kit at the moment... ..ive got some of them braze on mounts in my box of bits somewhere ....when i bought my 4 bolt magura mounts! cheers, thats proper helpfull!
cheers to john shrewsbury aswell, i'll call clive unless i can get hold of some pashley forks get them bits brazed on
-
i got inspired with a maggie up front. just get a steel fork and then take it to a welder and tell him to drop the mount down 27mm. job done.
good plan, i can't seem to get on with discs!
anyone got any pics???
To be honest I'd stay clear of the ET. They were ground breaking in their day but were prone to snapping. Any second hand frame you pick up now (or even a new one) will snap sooner rather than later. There are also better options available now, the Inspired being, in my opinion (biased since I own one) is the cream of crop... Forks wise, pass. Just get over your fear and run a disc!!Dave
just had a look at your profile and your white inspired is on there....that bike is sweet!
-
I think this breed of 24'' trials bikes absolutly rule! i really like the look of the inspired frame, and the ashton et24, (does anybody know any shops where i could get an ashton?) i mainly ride streety type trials and reckon one of these little beasts would be the nuts......
also if i was to splash out and spend the banks money on one, i would definatly not want a disc.....so what forks would be compatable for a front maggie? i know the ashton forks have 24'' mounts but they are so rare i would have to wait ages for a second hand set to pop up on ebay!
all comments and pictures of your 24'' bikes welcome
