  1. Yes pal it would be good to have people to ride with i have a wife and 2 kids so my ride days would more then likely be tuesdays inbetween 12 and 6 or fridays message me your number il add you on whatsapp get a little group going.

  2. That was some sweet riding there at the end love the 360 holding the bars and that was probably the best editing i have seen brilliant vid and a few people i know are watching it as we speak. keep up the riding and can't wait to see more vids.

  3. All you need to do is find the balance point on the back wheel, once you've done that start trying to kick the pedals and roll and break and stay on the back wheel once you have done that try jumping whilst letting go of the break kicking and holding the break again just keep practicing and you will be on your way. hope this helped :)

  4. was at my local shops and saw some benches so rode up lifted my front wheel on to the bench pulled my front break and went to lift my back wheel on miss judged the height and my drop out hit the metal bench and slid out from under me. my mate was laughing something terrible and alot of people where laughing to, he said i did a complete 360 barrel roll.. is the only way to describe it was the no.1 embarrassing thing on my life's current list lmao was made worse as i knew nearly everyone there...

this was actually a good post btw brings some peoples worst memories back and makes you laugh lol.

  5. All the answers to your other questions were in the answers I gave to you in reply to the different Q&As you asked about on the Tartybikes website.

Mark on a personal note what do you prefer to ride disc or rim breaks? i only ask these questions because i am not 100% sure what to do get disk or rim as i haven't rode with dual disc.

  6. discs are a lot less maintenance than hs33s.

All those parts will swap over fine apart from the bottom bracket as the Echo has a press fitted one.

On tartybikes they sell it seperatley and it says it would fit the zoo.

  7. Just out of interest that's sort of a downgrade really why are you swapping the frame?

purely because i don't know disc well and the new Echo tr hydraulic disks need some sort of extra maintainance i know how to maintain hs33's which as the lynx frame has 4bolt i was going to get the rockman maladie but people say there has been a few reports of the frame snapping. Any other frames under £300 that you would recommend?

  8. Well i have posted about the neon bow and the echo lite 2011 (dual disk only) bikes.

Also does anybody know weather the Echo tr hydraulic disc breaks are as good as tartybikes are saying when comparing them to hope disc's be greatly appreciated thanks all.

  9. Hi everyone,

I am looking for people who have rode with the echo tr hydraulic disc brakes as I'm buying the Echo lite 2011 from tarty bikes as its the new frame, It doesn't come with a 4 bolt mount anymore more so I'm stuck as what to get, My choices are buy the Echo lite 2011(dual disk)and give it a try but at the same time i can buy a rear hs33 and the Rockman Maladie frame so if worst comes to worst i can switch and sell the echo frame, If the feedback on the Echo TR Hydraulic disc brakes are good i might just stick to them for a while and so how things go.

    Thanks all for reading.

  10. Personally I'd go for the echo, dual discs on mod looks like the way to go currently and that has a very nice setup. Also if you decide you really don't get on with the discs you can always stick a rear magura on it!

That's the problem the new echo frame doesn't come with 4 bolt mounts if you go to tarty bikes go to echo lite 2011 (dual disk) and click enlarge the pic the new frame is the one with the black rims (missing the 4 bolt mounts) so what i am planning on doing is buying the bike with a rockman maladie frame + a rear hs33 and there i got a cheap rockman maladie setup lol same price as what i would of paid for the neon bow just over.

  11. Right people looking at getting back into trials now and want some advice www.tartybikes.com have the Echo lite full bike build for sale and i would get it but would get rear hs33 but im now stumped weather to get that or the neon bow any advice on them both.

    Thanks :).
