  1. dics are exellent on the rear apart from one thing they snap your frame in the end but apart from that when they have been beded in correctly and setup well they are muchmorepowerful than amagy, i know i had an m4 for a year and was mental, but it snapped 3 frames b*****d things

  2. ok i havnt read the post much but its possible to fitt a front free wheel to burns.need to get the bash and take it ti some one with a lathe and ask them to machine it down anf to cut the threads on it so you can screw a free wheel on to it, wouldnt cost that much

  3. To go with the origional topic.

    Frame: got

    forks: Global titanium

    stem: Global titanium

    bar: Easton carbon dh

    headset: CK titanium

    front hub: CK diskotech

front rim: Sun singlewide drilled with fancy titanium holes (just kidding  )

Spokes: titanium ones from whoever makes them

rear hub: CK classic, fun bolts, steel freehub body

    rear rim: Sun double wide

    Spokes: titanium again

cranks: middleburn with super pro bash isis

    bb: RF titanium

    pedals: Assault

front brake: Magura marta sl with +20 adaptor and hope mono6 ti 180 rotor

rear brake: Magura hs33, magura hosing, xtr booster, heatsink pads, cnc lever blade

rear tyre: Kenda Blue Groove 2.5 Stick-E

front tyre: Kenda Blue Groove 2.1 Stick-E

    cassette: Shimano Dura Ace

Mech: Sram (the nice carbon one)

    chain: Connex titanium

that would cost a bomb, wouldnt be the best bike though

thats what i would have, dt make ti spokes because i have them on my rear wheel.

mayb the carbon cassette, a v on the front

  4. if u put the wheel in a clamp and spinit then holf the grinder at a small angle thats good

if u just touch the grinder on then it should spin the wheel this will mean u get an even grind and no huge lumps out of the rim

  5. Thing is, brake power can be very different...  you know Elliot Firth, that guy that won Expert Nass at Bath?  He runs red pads that are highly glazed and a dirty D521 rim....  His back brake is nasty, it just slips doing anything... for me.

He can pull his brake so hard however that its got enough power for him... Black pads, red pads, whatever... he makes any brake work....  I say learn to pull the lever harder!

I expect its cus he is skilled and doesnt need the brake to be so powerful
