Yea i have done the same thing a couple of times! it really hurts and you suck, but just keep at it, i usually find i'm back to where i was in few weeks or so.

If i were you i would replace the chain, they really hurt when they break whatever your doing. ( i would replace the chain on anysecond hand trials bike ).

I guess i'm going in as a private, i don't think i have had a choice?.. Minimum sign up is four years, you get a forty grand lump sum if you do twenty two years. Just to say i'm not going into the army to ride trials more often lol. I have my own reasons, which i won't bore you with. I don't get hardly anytime to ride anymore, so it will be nice if i can continue my interest whilst i'm there.

Thanks for your responce, i have emailed them about it all, when i have actually joined i will further this more. I'm sure there would be people in there who would love to try trials. If they do have a motor bike trials team then why not have a bicycle trials team, i thought that bike trials was to help you learn to do motorbike trials anyway? I know we'd have to " be the best " and have cammo bikes bike i still think it would be good! I'll keep you informed about what happens.

Within this next year i will be joining the Royal engineers, as you probably all know sport is a big part of army life life. They say " we do nearly every sport imagineable". I very much doubt they do trials. So if anyone on here is in the army.....? do they do trials and if not would it be possible to set up some kind of club/ team or place to practice. Please let me know if you think trials in the army is a good or bad idea. many thanks

when i went into the police station, they mentioned something about a silent court hearing, ( the case is tried but me the offender is not present providing i plead guilty which i obviously will) this was the day after the accident. The silent hearing also has not been mentioned again. Do you think it would be a good idea to get hold of the officer dealing with the case, or just wait and see?

yea thx guys gettin an idea of my punishment, i am not covered fully comp on my own car, so 3rd party cover on her car was not applicible. About the car rolling, it slid of a bend in the wet which had an anti camber, then went into a ditch and rolled, would have been ok if the ditch hadn't of been there, but it was so.. (Y). I went into the police satation, and they said a police officer from another station was dealing with it, and i will hear within the next trwo week, this was two weeks ago sat gone.

Ok this is the scenario (sp) I borrowed my friends car to give her a lift home, she was drunk, i then took the car home, but on the way decided that in fact the car was very nice and i wanted to take it for a spin with my friend, then basically i rolled the car... twice hmm. Believe it or not i wasn't driving too stupidly, but i live on the IOW and the raods are shit, it was wet blah blah. Anyway the pokice came to the scene and did nothing. I produced the documents at my local police station. Now i think the only crime i have committed is driving without insurance! It's been nearly two months, what do you think is gonna happen. Bearing in mind this is my first offence, and i have admitted all responsibily and am replacing the car. All opinions appreciated thx! shay.

you can ride a sped at 16 so... whats all the 3 months befor you 17th rubbish all about?.... there aren't separate liscences (provisional) for cars and bikes.

i don't know why people are always trying to find new ways to make the sport easier, imo it's all about learning to land softly doing different things. If all these carazy ideas were really good the sport would be very easy, and pointless.
