You say (whilst you save for a decent one) I would not spend the £100 pound you have just yet and just get a better frame straight away, would save the hasle of building a bike getting used to it and then buying another new frame. just my opinion but thats what i would do

Koxx or Manus With the koxx i no that alot of people say try-all stuff isnt the strongest, had a little go on the Manus and it seemed really nice, but in my opinion to many people have them now. I would also be tempted by the rockman akali, but thats not DD, And if you dont mind pushing the budget a little bit the speedrace fans looks minttt !

Sorry if this is kind of stealing your topic butt ... are there many riders around the inverness area, my family has a cottage about 1hour north from there near a place called bonar bridge, I go up there quite alot especialy in the summer but never no where to go for the good spots
