  8. In my opinion it is so much better to run a rim brake (maggie) compared to a disk Why? 1. Disks are useless when oil/grease gets on them 2. Disks get hit sometimes causing time/money to be wasted getting a true disk again 3. Maggies make a better noise 4. Less flex 5. Easier to setup And 6. To me it feels like maggies give a quicker, sharper more powerful response I recommend you keep the maggie But in the end it is up to you
  9. First thing i learnt was to endo then trackstand then bunnyhop I did start with a not trials bike though so it was quite hard to do more trialsy moves
  10. look on the trials forum wiki it tells you how to do nearly anything to your bike

  12. people have been to the moon dozens of times ever heard of neil armstrong
  13. new thought for you all maybe we are living in a 4D universe but we just cannot imagine it in this 4D universe if you travelled in what we think is a straight line we come back to were you started because you actually are going in a curve but we cannot imagine it to be a curve as it would be 4D some scientist think that our universe is expanding so fast that it is like a elastic it will go so far and then collapse in on its self and start all over this is a very hard topic to think about and i think we are a long way from finding the answer but its fun to watch people thinking about it good luck with this
  14. personal preference really i would run a maggie on the back if you haven't one already but on the front i would have a go on another bike with a maggie on the front and see how you find it it just feels like your front brake is a bit less soft in my opinion i would run a maggie but only get one if you can get it cheap-ish as there is not much difference and it isn't worth the extra cost at the end of the day though it is up to you
  15. RIP Oli Lewis my condolences go out to his family and all who knew him
  16. This is a trials forum not a singing forum Just Singed Up but Welcome and a Merry Christmas to you anyway
  17. Hi welcome back I would also personally recommend the A1 But at the end of the day it comes down to personally preference Go to a few rides and try to get to have a ride on both then see which you like better And selling your Koxx was a big mistake i agree my friend had one and they are nice bikes to ride
  18. Post lots of good replies to other peoples posts to get yourself validated Then buy second hand stuff off the classifieds You often can pick up a good deal especially around now as everyone is getting new bits and selling the old bits on.
  19. Depends where you sell it and how quickly you want to sell it...... On this forum i doubt you will get £300 as people like to get things uber cheap But maybe if you sold it on ebay you might get £300 £250 will get it sold more quickly but it is worth about £300 to the right person like Nath said... I would advertise her on here for £300 then if there is no interest lower the price to £250 then if there still is no interest put her on ebay for a min of between £200-250 Quite a nice bike though.....Why the sell up?.....
  20. is this quite a good deal or is he ripping me off please tell me if he is because i have not much idea of how much it's worth
  21. A ratio of 16tooth front cog, to 12tooth rear cog would give you 34.7 gear inches. In an attempt to replicate this, i tried 18:13 and 18:14.... 18:14= 33.4 GI 18:13= 36GI As you can see they're both equi-distance from the first ration figure. So, you have to really decide whther you want a a slightly harder, or easier gear ratio than the one you're currently using. The only combinations that match your current is: 20:15 and 24:18 I used the following website for my information: http://www.hostelshoppe.com/tech_gearcalc.php Maybe worth putting the above website in the wiki?
  22. ok thanks im split know about whether to get the gatecrasher or something that allows me to choose bigger wheels ill think about it thanks again
