Hello could someone advise me what type of insurance to have for european events, would extreme sports travel insurance cover be good enough, what type of insurance have you used that covers you for taking part in foriegn events cheers.

I think it would be a shame if the Biu went as its a good way for any riders starting in cycle trials competitions,maybe a few have forgotten where they all started and should show more support for Biu events. My son has done the Biu British rounds for the last 3 years and have enjoyed doing so.There has been some not so good events, but you cant have it good all the time.This year the entries have been low but the events have been very good,we are looking forward to next year,lets hope there will be more riders.

I think post code is TQ13 9PT tryed this on aa route finder,but takes you through alot of back roads its better to go down the A38 to Newton Abbott/Trago Mills [A382] round-a-bout and go back up A38. Hello sorry but there is no over 40s just white for beginners of all ages,if we do a series for next year then there will be all classes Nick you had better come!!!!!!! Cheers rich i was a lilttle p----d off that day but learnt alot more about marking out a cycle trial.I will be going to botter the weekend before trial to sus things out then saturday before trial. Mathew won't be there as he has to work, which is a shame as he has now built a koxx xp2 and gone for vees front and rear which surprised me,but they do work very well. It would of been nice to see how he got on at botter,The branch section will be used!!!!!!!!!. If i have a problem trying to sus out some decent sections i will take you up on your offer of help.

Hi Nathen you can enter on the day, its a good place to ride mostly rocks, there will be certificates at the end of the trial for 1st,2nd 3rd,in each class e.g white-blue-red-yellow,we are doing this trial as a guide to how much interest we get so we can hopefully do a series for next year,which will be good for the south west. No its not joe, kelly farm is where they held the british motorbike round. luke its better at botter rock there isnt any of those over the handle bar pot holes which you found so easy,it will be ok for your 24" and it wont be marked out as hard

West of England MCC are holding a cycle trial on 26" october at Botter Rock Fram, Hennock, devon.Signing on from 10.00am, trial will start at 11.30am,there will be free club membership. £10.00 entry which will include insurance. The event will be signed of the A38 south bound at Trago mills/Newton Abbott round-a-bout,which you will have to go right round the round-a-bout back onto A38 north bound,then follow signs off the A38 to Botter Rock Farm. Folks coming North bound on A38 the event will be sign just past Trago mills/Newton Abbott round-a-bout.

so if i was to grind my rim use those heatsink pads deore brake arms and avid sd7 levers and a booster it should work pritty damn gd!

Hi if you are starting with v brakes for the first time what would be the best set up to have,would xtr arms and levers b ok.Advise would be great.

Thanks for the comment Luke im clad that you enjoyed the day and the others.It was my first time at marking out (christ) it is hard to please everyone!!!!!!.I didn't think it was going to be that hard for you guys[blue-white] when marking out on saturday it was nice and dry,it must haved rained alot out there overnight.I realy lost the plot when marking out yellow but after ALOT of alteration it was much better.It was a shame that there was only one red rider so couldn't realy tell if red route was way over the top as well. Im SORRY for letting the yellow route riders down (who said hey don't worry about it ) yea right but i felt really bad, it was a long way for nick manning to come and have a shit time and the others. I have learn't alot from the trial. IF we hold another trial it will be marked out a little more easy A BIG THANKYOU to everyone that came and im sure that we will see you soon.
