  1. Pads: V!Z HS33 Time used: 6 months Rim used: Try-all 26" Grind: No Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura HS33, with Echo 2 Bolt Booster How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Ive only used standard magura pads before, these are twice as good Review: When i first fitted them, i was well impressed with their intial bite, they hold better than standard pads, but i could do with a bit more, they make a nice sound too. I am running a smooth rim. I have started to use them with tar now, and i must say they like running with tar, awesome bite and hold and the sound is more of a shriek than a squeak lol . 8/10.
  2. Yeh it sounds like you need a shim. It may be due to the diameter of your handlebars being smaller than the bars Magura designed the clamp for.
  3. Ahh i see your problem now Greg, i didn't fully understand today on the ride. Erm when i was trying 360s on my jump bike, and landing 180 with the brake locked, i found the rotor bolts came loose after a while, along with the caliper mount bolts. Keep everything tight and you should be fine.
  4. Had a sick ride in Brighton today :)

  5. I live in worthing on the south coast, about 40 miles ish from southampton. However I'll be living in portsmouth from september 2010..cos im over there for uni.
  6. If your front wheel can take 20mm axle, merlin cycles are selling new dj2s with 20mm bolt through for £80, saves you £120 on the other dj2's.
  7. Ive had Halo SAS wheels on my dirt rig for 2 years now, running spin doctor hubs, they havent given me any trouble at all, still run proper smooth And a rear spin doctor hub is a bargain at £36.99, thats like a third of the price of a Pro 2. Ive heard Pro2's are immense, but i have no personal experience of them, so im not saying a spin doctor is better than a hope, but they are still pretty darn good. I just noticed you want to replace a S.D, so yeh go for a DJD or similar
