You'd get more grip with a new tyre but you said there, that if you got a new tyre you'd loose grip and bounce?

Just don't buy a new tyre but then if you have a slick you'll need to tar a rail 'cause you won't have grip

+1 The Because frames look very nice and I think personally they would be a good little starter bike But don't get a DOB, Koxx or a monty, if your a beginner as you'll more then likely snap it. Edit: With the brakes, its personal preference. Most street riders use dual HS33's Where as most natural riders have dual disk or front disk rear HS33

It's not the cylinders that leak, it's the leaver body But yeah, save your self some cash and get maggy ones. Unless like Alex said, you need more clearance with cranks or whatever. Edit: They leak more with water than oil (obviously..)
